It’s about showing solidarity with our fellow supporters who would be unable to pay the increase supporting your football club should not just be for those fortunate enough to be able to afford it Good to see you are a Wolves supporter great to have you in the pack 👍👍🏿👍🏽⚽️⚽️🐺🐺🐺🐺
@@barrywest2170 Thank you! I have been a fan for many years. My Grandmother was from Wolverhampton, born in Bilston. I have been to Wolves once at home and many away games when I lived in Leeds. I am from Philly. Go Wolves!
Well done Dave another great composed interview. Proud of you. I have been a supporter for 70 years when I used to go to the magical European nights of the 59s. Had to come away with family a few yeas ago fir health reasons but my jope was always to get back to the Golden Palace one day but as I am now disabled I doubt I could afford ut
Great work Dave, full of passion mate, let’s hope Jeff opens his eyes, reads all the letters and emails he is being sent, and do something about this situation
Dave As a fellow wolves fan your comments on the radio were superb. And as a fan I must say, you did wolves supporters proud. These people, Dave should not be managing at wolves. They are tricky, and I have spent a lot of time fooling fans, but the game is now up.we continue our battle for cheaper seats or get them out, Well done Dave.
Perhaps if the petition has no impact, the way forward will be to organise protests at friendly home games together with the opening home fixtures for the new season. 4:22
Brilliant interview Dave you are very professional now communicating with supporters & the media your passion for Wolves comes across very strongly in your vlogs as does Magic Moss. Keep up the good work. AW
I’ll call it now, there will be some concession on price and most will just renew their season ticket anyway. We’ll spend next to nothing in the summer again as Fosun will claim that they tried to drive in additional revenue but that wasn’t possible and we’ll be in a relegation battle again. When we do face the inevitable and go down the fan boys will disappear and we’ll be back to getting mid twenty thousand in the Championship.
lets see and renewing is not the issue for those they want to keep there seat and can afford it its abbey the ones that cant. for everyone that dont renew someone is on the waiting list they know that but the fans that cant will lose there seat forever
Well done Dave. As you know I have managed to get Saints, Brighton, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Bristol City and Leeds on board with signing the petition. I have even managed to get some players in Scotland and Ireland signing it and spreading the word. Personally I can afford the price rise but that’s not the point. We run the risk of losing a whole generation of Wolves fans if this goes ahead. I also feel for the less fortunate who will be tipped over the edge financially and won’t be able to go anymore…….Always Wolves
... even for a member....FORTY FIVE QUID.....for a poxy drink/flask and a badge....wtf...... disgraceful..... Dave, you the man for Wolves news, and it's not good that you're having to talki to a local radio station to talk about this rather than FOOTBALL..... but who better to represent US.....the fans......the work you do is commendable.... So thank you from all of us, the Wolves supporters , Always Wolves 👍
Well done and everyone else involved with this the fan base coming together in this situation just hope we can get our voice known as this situation is becoming a farce on the owners side. Dave you came over great this morning putting the points of view over.
In his (Shi) email that came with the season ticket renewal he states the club will keep progressing, well may i remind him there has been no progress since Nuno left, isn't this our lowest finish in the premier league since we got promoted 5 years ago. How about he goes and chases mendez and the agents that have ripped this club off with poor signings over the years and asks them for a refund instead of ripping us loyal supporters off.
Good luck with the petition. We lost our speedway team in the city last year there were over 23,000 signatures from all over. Sadly that’s fallen on deaf ears. Unfortunately these big multi National corporations don’t give sh1t about the fans who go week in week out through thick & thin😟
Well said Dave. Jeff Shi should be ashamed! I've not done the maths but I don't see how much difference the extra money will make for the club's long term progress. It will make a HELL of a difference to fans who have to pay these ridiculous prices.
@@AlwaysWolves it isn the express and star 2 days ago dave. hes basically saying shut up disloyal fans pay up if you want new signings as ffp has us strangulated. for me, this is the begining of the end for fosun. they will probably sell up, and buy a larger commercial turn over club that can buy players as the annual turnover will be £450m instead of £170m.
Very interesting listen. But IMO if Wolves fans are all together, then no-one should be buying Season Tickets. This would show their strength and support for the disabled, the young etc. who may now not be able to afford to go to see their beloved team. No doubt thousands will still buy Season Tickets regardless of what is happening.
you might think that mate but they will just be bought by people on waiting list and then you lose out on getting back to watch your team they know this. this is for those that cant afford it. even those that can are angry at the massive increase
As the real fans are priced out and week by week they are replaced by those that don’t know the chants and don’t have the passion, the atmosphere slowly but surely erodes. The club needs to remind themselves that what makes Wolverhampton Wanderers great is the atmosphere created by the fans both home and away….and without the esprit de corps the rot gains momentum and the twelfth man disappears. Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have a reputation for being some of if not the best at creating atmosphere……. Don’t undermine it..
Dave you need to understand the players must get an increase in order to give their all for their fans and supporters plus an increase will keep our best players at the club
Nathan you seriously do not understand this has nothing to do with players wages there are on on fixed contracts. we are getting 7 million from new betting sponsor Ann additional 5 million cause baggies didnt get promoted we get millions and millions from tv money it has nothing to do with players wages
John facts there is a big waiting list, if you dont renew someone else will buy it makes no difference. everyone is unhappy with prices rise. its for the ones that cant afford it we doing this and also people will not spend as much money on merch if they having to pay for a big increase.
i dont think even wolves are daft enough to believe the whole ground can be filled with tourists from abroad each game. heres the facts, some wont like hearing it, but it is what it is. as far back as the late haywood/moxey era, a target market was drawn out of capturing deep shropshire and staffs where a more affluent fan could be found in many towns and villages. one with more £ to spend corporate and in club shop. familys with high income worth more to them than fans from poorer parts of wolves and BC. what your seeing now is the coatail of that topped off by some tasteless comments from shi. take a look at where they place the kids soccer schools. may sound petty but theres method to it. these are breeding grounds for fans of the future. currently 8 schools, some as far out as shrewsbury, a middle class town with no link to wolves but not a single one in the black country. tells you everything you need to know. gentrification of the fanbase in action right there, now they have the waiting lists on season tickets
absolutely no issue with soccer schools or fans from surrounding areas at all thats god business and everyone of those towns has good and bad areas same with Wolverhampton there are affluent areas and poorer areas. but yeah surely not daft enough to think they can fill the. ground with tourists
Well said Dave you nailed it mate. The treatment of disabled fans is an absolute disgrace!
thanks mark

Well said Dazzler. 😊

Well said Dave. My personal opinion is that Fosun want out. Like any player that doesn't want to be at Molineux they need to go.
thank you
10,000 signatures? 30k plus every home game , just shows majority don't care, and others will just take them tickets
Owners don't need fans on terraces. It's all about TV rights which are much more lucrative.
ok
@@alanbradley9621 seems to me for a lot of clubs the fans are just window dressing.
Dave you sounded like a politician when asked if you are going to buy a season ticket. 😂

Jeff Shi should resign, he has lost the total confidence and respect of Wolves fans.
Spot on 🐺🐺🐺🐺
Tell Shi to sod off to where he came from !!!
He went down in my opinion with the Nuno sacking and the millions he jizzed up the wall on Fabio Silva
Haven't been a fan for a while, don't feel any connection with Shi and the club? doesn't have any ambition anymore to be a club competing? 😕
