She was just really really nervous. You can hear it in her voice, but if she was more relaxed and loose would be 10xs more fire. Trust shes gifted and really really good. She just needs to shake those butterflies we all get when your put in a spot like this.
A. RJ she was a lot of things but sure as hell not nervous, the second she stepped on the stage she thought „fuck yeah I’m the shit I’ll win this 100% I’m so amazing“. What you heard in her voice was her being out of breath because she was moving around and dancing too much. Professionals can handle that easily, but she can’t.

She'll probably do hip hop and trap, maybe reggaeton, so she doesn't really need to have great vocals. She has the looks, the attitude and the rhythm. She'll do fine, enough to do music professionally and make a pretty good living but probably not to be a popstar, otherwise we'd have heard about her by now.

Je l'ai vue plusieurs fois être mentionnée comme outil de comparaison dans des débats sur cette saison, soit disant qu'il suffisait de chanter du Rihanna en espagnol/portugais pour être sélectionné alors que d'autres méritaient plus. Et bah en fait non, elle a son style, son univers et elle a un super groove et son élocution est hyper fluide, elle gère carrément. Elle est moderne dans sa manière de chanter et dans ses mouvements, son énergie me rappelle Manoah de l'an dernier, qui avait aussi chanté du Rihanna à son audition. Elle mérite d'avoir été choisie, mais dommage qu'elle ne soit pas restée longtemps, j'aurais bien aimé voir ce qu'elle pouvait envoyer dans une chanson plus douce.

Given that the audition is solely based on her voice, I don’t think it’s merits the instant turn. She’s definitely a good performer and has great stage presence, but her voice isn’t amazing. She sounds like she always out of breath and she’s not hitting an significant notes.

What people dont realize is different/unique voices are what get you the big success. The vibration in her voice is what is unique and it's what will take her far musically, it's got a flare to it and it's hard to find vocalists who use vibration in their voice for songs like this. For something where it's literally just fun music. It's her style of singing, and it's nice. Maybe not what everyone wants but I'd buy tickets to see her perform over Halsey or Arianna Grande.. no hate to those artists but I like unique. I don't need to hear similar voices do the same thing over and over. This was cool.
