Oh it’s definitely the best, I could only afford one pack between this one and Pets I think, and I went “ugh, clubs? That’s the selling point? That’s so boring,” but I decided to get it anyway and it’s definitely the pack I use the MOST. So many locations for dates (which was a major problem for me before that) and parties and so so many townies, not to mention so many families with teens and children for my sims kids to interact with. Also the club mechanic works pretty well for other weird stuff like the hundred baby challenge or making a cult. Heck I can have free labor if I invite a bunch of gardeners over with the Cottage pack and they’ll clean it up for me

@@aj7058 well I do need those two packs in my game. I make clubs everytime, it's so useful, and actually miss them when I go back to sims 3 and 2. Love dance, coffee and nightclub (my love for routine is satisfied) And I constantly build and live in Windenburg, juste love the map and the bb items. And with City Living I'm obsessed with festivals, especially geek convention, I really love that we have 3 different competitions in a few hours. Love the many new recipes, apartments, and lots of neighbours, it feels lived in. I consider pnj in those two packs are the best of the game so far.
With seasons and parenthood you have a pretty complete game to play with in a family and/or solo gameplay (but it's still the sims 4 and no Generations pack tho)
My dount of the moment for packs : I don't have snowy escape, and I really want to buy it but I'm afraid to be disappointed, even if I'm in love with this japanese inspired world

windenburg has more lore than i thought!! get together is really one of the better packs, impressive considering how early in the game it came out
it should be a game pack in my opinion but it does have some really interesting gameplay
The other day I reloaded an old save and I realised too late that I had set every club in the game with the approved activity of fighting the elderly. 3 Sims jumped Vivienne Kim-Lewis for like no reason.

do you think when they were making this pack someone suggested clubs and meant nightclubs and someone misunderstood? and then the team was like wait, yes...both.
I still remember when i buy this pack on day one, and a loooot of people talk trash about this because is not seasons, university or pets. But it the only pack till this day that i use EVERY SINGLE DAY, for me its a pack that you must have to play The Sims 4. Love that with the time, people start to appreciate now, because this pack gets old like fine wine.
This. Everyone says Seasons, but to me, nope, this is the must have expansion.
Windenburg has 27 lots. 27. Twenty-seven. Two seven. We pay as much money today for crap like Snowy Escape with 14 lots. Not only did TS4 have the least content upon release, the content for each and every pack just gets less and less. The more money they earn, the less we get. Get Together was a really good pack together with pets and seasons, however seasons was the first EP to not include a new world (red flag imo). It all just went downhill from there.
Snowy Escape is really a good pack though. Del Sol Valley would be more appropriate..

nah snowy escape is so good i love the world and the aesthetics and the build/buy objects and the gameplay….i think a more appropriate example would be del sol valley that was an absolute disgrace it’s just depressing😭also cats and dogs is just not a good pack, it’s worth it i guess if you like having pets but really they should’ve released it along with the terrariums and cages for smaller pets and not included it in a later stuff pack
I agree Cats & Dogs is a shit pack, but I love Brindleton Bay so much. I've lived there more than any other world I think! Del Sol Valley is actually tragic though 😭 hands down the worst world.

Get Together is an unsung hero. I never think of it when I think of my favourite packs but I know if I took it out of my game I would have a gaping hole. Clubs, cafes and the world are things I use in almost every if not all of my save files.

Get Together isn't a "sexy" expansion pack but it sure has a lot of gameplay and a great world.
Winderburg would be so good if it had terraced houses, but the sims team isn't aware of their existence i guess

I changed a lot of the clubs in my game to make more sense. The Knights of the Hedge is now a true LARPers club where they act out scenes together in costume
Genius! Is there a quick way to do it through cheats or do you still just have to become leader each time?
@@candyak9985 That's my biggest pet peeve -- that you have to become leader everytime to manage the clubs. Leaving this here in case you do find a mod for that.
@@candyak9985 I just go to the household of the leader and change it from there. It's definitely annoying from a player's perspective. It should be an option where you can decide if only the leader can make changes or if anyone can.

I'm with you - Get Together is the best TS4 pack for sure. The club system makes this pack, and it's different than anything that was in other iterations of The Sims. I still use the club system extensively to add so much additional dimension to my sims.
I didn't buy a lot of stuff for the Sims4 but Get Together is one of them, and it is integral to every game of it I've played since.
i only ever got Get to Work and Get Together when they came out. considered getting City Living back when it was new but I fell out of love with The Sims 4 soooo fast lol
One of my legacy vampires who lost his wife to a sunlight accident is in love with Mimsy and they're gonna get married with the new wedding pack. IM SO HYPED TO BREAK UP THE VON HAUNTS

I use clubs in every game. Sometimes for forcing my sims to have friends, but mostly just for simple things like forcing the whole family to clean the house and fix broken things without me having to make them do it.
I think Get Together is the most under rated pack. The club feature is so handy for story telling adding a bustling life to your worlds, not to mention the sims management aspect of it.

5:33 I don't know if you can actually choose one specific sim but I do know you can choose a club (example 'fight with this paticular club') and also ages (ex. 'make jokes with children' ). Just saying in case you or anyone else who reads this didn't know lol

@@candyak9985 yes you can!! You can pretty much create a cult and exploit other sims to do cleaning, cooking, gardening, painting and even deprived them from sleeping if you want. You can also determined relationship levels specifically in your household by making a club with 1 parent and a child, and the other parent and the other child for example to create family times and specifis shared activities and bonding between them. Get together had bring the best tool ever in the sims 4 with clubs.

Get Together has always been one of my favourite packs, it’s so underrated. It added so much to the game plus Windenberg is one of the best towns (IMO)
Love Get Together! One amazing tip I got during my 26 Baby Challenge was to create a homework/tutoring club for the family's kids and teens, and activate a meeting when they all get home for school. Better grades and no missed assignments!
Clubs are definitely an easy way to make Sims do things as a group. Or to get your Sim to steal things if they aren't a kleptomaniac 😇
I love Get Together as well. It is my favorite Expansion (but overall I love Jungle Adventure and Outdoor Retreat more). And when mixed with Seasons, Windenburg during a thunderstorm is really cool. Yes the CAS is a bit weak, but I love everything else about it. Build and buy is amazing and Clubs are so useful, even though I do not use them as much as I should.
It’s sooo underrated! I always take my teens or uni students to do their homework in coffee shops with friends, I love the DJ skill and ability for your sim to DJ in the clubs and make money off it! I love the group dancing it’s so cute. I use this pack so much for teens because I find it’s so easy to round them up and take them out to meet new teens!
I love the von haunt mansion! Hosted many weddings there too. Also the bluffs/ruins you can host a dance party in a DJ set up and bar will appear in game. It’s so cool!!!
Hearing Jesse sing Camilo’s part from we don’t talk about Bruno from encanto was the highlight of my day
I'm SO DISAPPOINTED that you were on The Bluffs island, and you didn't stick around and look out to sea long enough for Emily to appear. GO BACK THIS INSTANT. :D
But yeah. Get Together is my favorite EP because of Windenburg and all the great build/buy stuff (closets, pee bushes, dancing, dance floors, cafes, etc) that came with it. People get stuck on the idea that the clubs system is all there is to it. NO. IT IS NOT. 27 lots in Windenburg. 3 special lots. Windenburg is the largest and arguably one of the most beautiful worlds we've ever gotten in Sims 4.
I mostly love the addition of cafes ☕️

It took me a bit to get around to buying Get Together, but I'm glad I eventually did--because if nothing else, Windenburg is GORGEOUS. Reminds me of Veronaville from Sims 2. Also that one island lot is the best place to do a hunter-gatherer challenge from. :) (Is that a selling point? Yes. Yes it is.)

i played the sims 4 for years just with the base game and get together and honestly it was so much fun😭but now that i’ve played w more expansions my fav is probably snowy escape…or city living but get together is up there for sure

There has to be some sort of overall lot limit to the game's performance or something that forces them to deliver packs with a significantly reduced number of lots, because it's not like the newer worlds don't have the space for additional lots. I bet the team never expected the game to be forced to last as long as it has now, hence why earlier packs featured much bigger worlds. This is all speculation, of course, but I wonder whether they're being careful with worlds now to make sure they can push a dozen more until the game's end, without risking the game's performance. Regardless, it sucks ass; Windenburg is amazing and these newer worlds just cannot compete.

Wow -- the Von Haunt Estate has a lot of interesting pop-ups! I really should use Windenberg more often. . .I'm just not a club person, and my Sims don't tend to socialize much as a result, so I never do much with the club system. I have enjoyed being invited to get-togethers at the Bluffs and the Ruins, though, those are fun. :) Definitely gotta start expanding my horizons more with this game, I think!
honestly my favorite sims family i've played with in YEARS started with Morgan and Luna getting together secretly as teenagers and all the drama that ensued! so i am VERY glad we got get together, windenberg and these wonderful sims in this pack!
Call me the wall because Get Together is my favourite Sims 4 Pack. I use the club system all the time and the world is absolutely sublime. I honestly think the CAS is very decent as well. And the potential for causing drama with the townies in the world and what the pack provides in general is almost limitless. BTW #GoRavenclaw

I've been playing sims 4 since it came out and i never knew those text plaques in the castle actually said anything, let alone lore, I'm used to them not being interactive like the rest of the game
As a builder in the sims, all gameplay aside, Get Together is still one of my favorite packs. The build/buy is so delicious and I love the European, specifically Tudor house vibes. Even a little more niche - the debug menu stuff from GT is sooooo useful! There’s a ton of great landscaping stuff hidden in there.

Get Together & Discover University are my favourite two packs for CAS, Build Mode and Gameplay. I use them the most, i honestly think they're amazing.

Sulani and Windenberg are my favourite places, my Sims are either constantly visiting there for activities/events like dates and weddings or they live there. The Bluffs is my most favourite place as it reminds me a little of my childhood in the Netherlands, Geffense Plas. It's not the same, but it's just the outdoors, wooded area with a manmade swimming facility and cafe (well, I've built a cafe on my lot ☺️). Sulani would be my dream home. I've recently learnt there are turtle hatchings you can watch in the game pack but I've yet to come across it in-game. I've been playing on and off for the past two years (yay simsaversarsy for me) and I'm still learning a lot about it all, especially the lore from your videos

It’s definitely one of my favorites because it helps make other sims do what you I make a club for my vampires so people will let them drink from them and I use it for my royalty mod so I can have lords and ladies at court all the time
Like how in sims 4 clubs and stuff don’t close so I can rock up at anytime or stay there till whatever time unlike sims 3 like having opening hours is good in theory but sims time goes super fast

Get together along with pets are two packs that prove that ea has so much potential to make BIG thick packs. Cats and dogs build buy? Amazing. Two new wood floors and some cool wallpaper, a TON of build objects, WINDOWS, pet decor, those modern paintings you use in every house, some amazing rugs, cas is absolutely adorable and if even for kids and toddlers, pet gameplay is so so so cute, brindleton bay is amazing..
Get together world? My god I’m on my knees. The build buy? Such a huge range. The club system? Works great for friend groups or even tryna find hotties! The cas? Man i use it almost ALL the time. And also the cool pool in the world? A dream, a dream.

Get Together is probably my most used pack from TS4 alongside City Living as a close second. I was most excited for the occult packs but they kind of ruined witches for me in this instalment that I forget they exist 😂

i think get together and get to work are my most used packs. just adds so much to the game. windenburg is beautiful too.

I've only skinny dipped once, in the middle of the night in a lake with some friends, it was so cold and I got out immediately and decided never again. But now I get to say I skinny-dipped under the Arora borealis which is cool, I reccomend doing it once if you can
At first I bought it because of the big selling point that is the world of Windenburg and building items that allow us to make European looking builds, but now I know it’s a need because if I want a spiced up gameplay, clubs are an absolute must have!
I was watching a Build video and there was a game table (dont even remember what game) and I checked and it was from get together pack, and I bought just for the games and I actually love it, The coffee shops, Dance clubs, games...it makes game play really cool (specially with university)
