If you could stop sinning on your own there would have been no need for the sacrifice of Christ for your sins, we are told we are all under condemnation, because all have sinned and fallen short. We are to all see ourselves as crucified with him in his death on the cross for the grace to fight the good fight of faith, stopping sin has nothing to do with entering heaven, because that is not the payment for sin, death is.

The phrase Repentance of sins isn’t even in the bible
