Hearing those names along with the unknown is fucking haunting. Great way to put emphasis on the victims and not allowing them to just disappear into the void as crawlspace victims.

I'm at a loss for words. I grew up on true crime and Gacy was one of the first my grandmother introduced me to (...at 8 years old 😂😅). This song hit hard on so many levels. All the emotions of pain you feel for his victims, being slapped in the face with his victims names, (which, I think everyone needs to know them), the complete indifference towards the suffering he caused, no, not indifference, pure unadulterated joy. Those an so much more.
The Columbine video drew me in, but it's Skynd's whole catalog that has turned me into a diehard fan.

Always love how SKYND honors the victims instead of the people who commit such acts.
It’s lowkey sad how serial killer cases are remembered for the killers themselves rather than the victim(s). SKYND is one of those bands that knows how to handle these crimes with care.

I believe that, when Gacy was a teenager, he slept in a coffin with a dead boy.

I absolutely love how they’re able to incorporate so many details about the case. From when he owned three KFC’s to the victims names and the crawl space under his house, even his last words- amazing. He was one sick bastard though. Poor boys

You know what I'm really impressed with is that SKYND has been going for 4 years or so now and they have yet to make a bad song. Everything they release is infectious and you just want to listen over and over.

It originally took me a few listens accept my own interest in information regarding serial killers and to understand what SKYND is doing with her work; she drew me in with 'Richard Ramirez' and 'Jim Jones', solidifying my love for her artistic expression with her portrayal of what happened with 'Elisa Lam'. Keep singing about these deaths, don't let history die.
Sometimes you just come across these gems, and this is one of those times.
Love that Skynd makes a point of reminding you of the people lost to these monsters and doesn't glamorize the guilty.
As I'm obsessed with details and knowing that SKYND is so thorough, I matched up the victims to the lyrics.

... am I the only one who felt incomplete until finding Skynd? I didn't realize how much my true crime addiction was incomplete without a soundtrack. Now that I found Skynd I can't stop listening and all my favorite bands have been placed on the back burner. I can't wait for more songs, and hoping that I can see them live one day

My dad was a Chicago Clown working for the Ronald McDonald house not too long after Gacy was caught. We've had multiple talks about him, and I one time pointed out that he looked creepy dressed as Pogo, but not in the normal "clowns are creepy" way. He explained that Pogo's makeup was pointy, which makes him less approachable than a clown with rounded makeup. Pogo looked evil due to his makeup shape choice, which ended up mirroring what Gacy was on the inside. While I feel for him in the aspect of his father physically abused him, and caused him to have a brain injury that arguably caused his psychopathic tendencies, Gacy will go down in history as The Killer Clown.
Him and GG Allin were friends, and Gacy was even responsible for the cover art for Hated. Although allegedly Gacy would comment that Allin smelled like shit.
honestly "GG Allin smells like shit" pales in comparison to what Allin probably said about him. if anyone deserves Allin's unmitigated wrath...

Update! The show was AMAZING!! Absolutely the best thing I have ever experienced in my entire life! If you get a chance, go see them! It’s one hell of a show that I promise you! Another surprising masterpiece of the great SKYND! A few days ago I saw this track live in Hamburg... the whole atmosphere has been as 'Gacy' as possible. I love bands who are really jnto their art and not just play music... this Band is pure passion for the musicians and as well for us fans! ☻️🖤🤘

Absolutely amazing, down to the letter I so love this song. My mother in-law was picked as a juror in the John Wayne Gacy trial, He was a very intimidating guy to not only them but the lawyers. Growing up in Northern IL. even after death everyone knew who he was.
