Hey @hacksmith just a random idea but could you try and use a full body tracking suit and code it into a computer to monitor and correspond to an outputting action by tracking and applying the written code of your body movements incase you wanted something akin to the iron man suits unless theres to many technical errors that would have to be sorted out
Amicus humani generis...... I need a exoskeleton for hunting criminals and corrupted lokal government I get attacked a lot I'm a Christian and clandestine occult detective Hunter of demon's and Evil old spirit's..... wolves in sheep's clothing....
Their mistake was giving the suit a range of movement beyond what human anatomy can handle, no reason for one of those suits to be able to spin the torso around
They are really smart in designing it, also the suit is meant to be in the open position if where is no power so the user will be also able to get out if there is a power problem, and yeah it cant physically go backwards on the elbow
This makes me think of that time in one of the Halo books where they put an unmodified human in a suit of MJOLNIR armor and the suit's movement was so fast that it broke the arm of the wearer, who then winced in pain, breaking more bones, repeat until.... ☠️
Great books! I remember that bit vividly. Also chief getting into a fight completely unarmed and naked by a gang of marines and kicking his attacker in the groin so hard it killed the guy(if I remember correctly).
I immediately thought of that! We've lost a person in space, I do believe, rockets blowing up after launch. These type of creations scare me with how much damage can happen to someone.
That's all that I was thinking about. When that suit span around and snapped that guy's spine. This could tear your arm muscles or dislocate your shoulder. Give it some tinkering and I'll test it myself haha
I'm 27, 6ft4 and have severely arthritic right ankle following an accident. I'd love an exoskeleton that would allow me to use that leg without bearing weight on the joint.
Okay in the first couple seconds of this video did anybody else imagine iron Man's competitor Hammer industries failure when that dude got his entire spine snapped around when testing Hammer industries iron Man armor variant
Tbh, I would have designed the elbow joints to not have the possibility of bending backwards. Yeah, its gonna create pinch points, but it can be sleeved
I know it's a bit out there, but my thoughts jump to coma patients. Not moving for extended periods of time causes muscle atrophy and bed sores. With these, would it be possible to reduce the atrophy simply by having the limbs move a bit so the muscles aren't completely stagnant?
Now all you need to do is make it move in parrallel with operator's movements without resistence and little need to hit commands. The exo needs to be a passive movement so the operator isnt at risk of it moving wrong and something falling on em due to loosing control of a load
Yeah, with a suit on the rest that should work pretty well. Not sure if that would exactly increase strength or anything, but would definitely stop you from being crushed.
Bruh be careful thats some crazy cool stuff and it looks like the cylinders cant hyper extend your arm, but hydraulics are terrifyingly powerful stuff!
Well exo skeletons are awesome and everything but, if they become a major thing in our militarys, one person could possibly hack into the systems, and make them ridged for an undefined amount of time, which could very well be catastrophic, if this goes past development and y'all start selling these, make sure you put in fail-safe's, like it opening if one part doesn't work anymore, or looses power, or such, or maybe even a button on you press with your hands/fingers to automatically opening it
Your better off starting a double xp at the beginning of the round and try and get 2 round 21 x vills with in an hour of your double xp you will get like 2 lvs per game at level 30-40 if your level 1 you could probably get 6 or more levels per x vill game
I reccomend using those gauntlets with pulling levers as hands. Those things you put around your hand and you can pull one of the levers to move a finger
With that opening and the sudden bending, all I could think of was the opening of Iron Man 2 in the congressional hearing where Stark changes the video feed to show the real progression on the Iron Man knock offs. This is a cool project hands down though.

Start of power armor lol
That sound made me think something terrible happened
Yes bro I thought he snap his arm in half for a second lol
that was the point of that sound I think it was edited because you can later "see" the bone (edited in ofc)
Springlock moment
The fact that he was screaming and convulsing in pain tipped me off that everything was fine, but, yeah, momentary scare.
Yeah for a second I thought it was more a Justin Hammer’s prototype from Iron Man 2 moment….wow really rolls off the tongue doesn’t it 😂
This disturbingly reminded me of Hammer Industry's horrific attempts to prototype their own Iron Man suit.
Their mistake was giving the suit a range of movement beyond what human anatomy can handle, no reason for one of those suits to be able to spin the torso around

Oh it can’t. pistons don’t go far enough to allow a fully outstretched arm. Can’t go backwards if you can’t even fully extend.
@@matthewjensen8681 even knowing this I still wouldn't put this thing on me. 😅
Nah this aint Hammer Industries

@MarkB.. blud it's a piston which moves in and out, it can't even bend lmao,
the bone sticking out killed me
I read this comment before seeing the end and yet I got surprised anyway somehow

@Ganjanomicon the screwy thing about that is that he wasn't through all the modifications yet

💀 Thats exactly what I thought.
Oh yeah, that crunching sound. Don't worry about that. That's not my bones.
That crunch scared the shit out of me
the last thing you want to hear when testing a powered exo is the sound of your bones crunching jfc
All I suggest is motion limitation so it doesn’t fold your arm like origami
Tbh, I would have designed the elbow joints to not have the possibility of bending backwards.
Yeah, its gonna create pinch points, but it can be sleeved
I hope they reattached the nerves because that was very disturbing. I wish him the best ❤
Love how he stayed calm the whole time for the intern.

i think there are things like this that are already used, just more compact. i dont have an example though so you just have to take my word for it
Yeah it’s a good thing that wasn’t his arm that made that noise. This thing could go from power armour to springlock suit if there’s a big mishap.

You should put it on backwards
Make sure you have a label saying what’s forwards and what’s backwards
Thats the arm cracker 3000. When entrepreneurs mess around with technology.
It physically can't crack your arm. Engineering 101... Don't design exoskeletons with bigger range of motions than the person inside

Yo big props to that Muslim sister her parents must be proud of her I wish I could be apart of hacksmith
Yeah, with a suit on the rest that should work pretty well. Not sure if that would exactly increase strength or anything, but would definitely stop you from being crushed.
So less Stark and more Hammer at this point. Just don’t put your torso in it just yet…
For a second I thought he took snapping his radius and ulna like a champ and casually said "that's not good"
I have just realized that wearing a malfunctioning exoskeleton could quite easily contort pulverize your entire body from the outside.
The opening to this reminds me of Halo, where untrained Spartans would be killed by their own armor
You shoulda baited us more in the beginning that’s a gold medal in clip farming 😂
You can see that mild terror behind his eyes lmao
imagine it going out of place while your arm is in it
The fear he most likely felt when that happened and yet kept his cool. Awesome
Maybe design a hardware failsafe so if it bugs out and tries to open beyond the range of a human arm, it can't because the joint won't let it.
It already can't open beyond the range of a human arm
I was expecting it to bend the wrong direction
Made me feel like I was watching the first trial run for a standard halo marine putting on spartan armor
Yo the ironman 2 scene gave me an anxienty attack looking at this😂
It's going to be like iron man 2 when they were trying out the military made iron man suits.😂😂😂

Yeah that would never happen though
