    If you are using a very stretchy or heavy fabric, do well to reduce the length of your armscye by 3 inches at least as creating a hole in the fabric will cause your armscye to expand more. Hope this helps.

      Hi, sorry for the late response 🤦🏿‍♀️. You can definitely use ankara. 1.5 to 2 yards should be okay. But you will need to hemm the edges preferably with a bias binding.

    I enjoyed the tutorial but it would be most helpful if you would include the fabric width and length you are using because different fabrics come in different widths. Some stretch fabrics may come in 52-60 inches wide and some ankara or cotton may come in 43-45 '' wide. So when you are saying you used 1.5 yards it would be helpful to include the added information(like 1.5 yards of 58" wide lycra or scuba, or etc) to help the most people. Again thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial

    How do I attach sleeve?

    • @ciscastitches
      @ciscastitches  6 лет назад

      +Tobechi Nwukor8 this wasn't made for sleeves to be attached because after making this jacket, you will end up with something like a C-back
