- The wind was already starting to ruffle the smooth morning conditions when Kelly turned up to Bali's favourite right.
Maybe he was trying to avoid the early morning traffic? There were less people in the water by the time he hit the lineup and he did catch a bunch of waves in a relatively short period of time.

Solid pumps and his board is sharp AF, generates so much speed out of his turns, i'm more stunned at his flexibility and his pop up is so quick to generate speed

I'm no pro but to me it's because he holds his bottom turn for so long and without pushing on his tail too much which would actually burn speed off. When your rail is engaged during a bottom turn you actually gain speed because there's less board 'on' the water.
Did he let anyone else get any waves?
If I was on the inside of Kelly I would definitely go, that guy is not going back to the 9 to 5 life after this trip...

He’s doing more fin testing.. I don’t want to switch from futures to fcs but I might cause they don’t make this one and it’s got ridiculous speed.. 😕
If I could switch 100 to fcs I would. Gotten 2 new boards this past year with bad Futures fin boxes. FCS 2 works fantastic too.

That board is doing weird things. Things I haven't ever seen Kelly or anyone else do before. Especially swivelling out of turns. 2:05 - 2:09. I'm pretty sure it will need an exorcism.
