Benny the Butcher spoke about growing up with his cousins, rappers Westside Gun and Conway, explaining that they inspired him to get into rapping after watching them in the studio as a kid. He went on to speak about how they created the blueprint for getting started in hip-hop in Buffalo, where there was no scene before. Benny also explained why he didn't go to the hospital to see Conway after he was shot, revealing that he had just lost his brother and it was too much to see his cousin in that condition. I heard con before the shot and after .. truth is, this may sound fucked up but that shot was a blessing.... it set him apart.
