In my experiencing learning a few languages I'd say the beginning of this template suits me very well but the rest does look like overplanning on my case. Having these checkmarks so you can analyze your progress is really good but maybe that should have to be connected to "how many days you studied" and more to "did you reach your goals?" on a communicational matter. For example: - After 1 month, are you able to follow a study routine? Are you able to understand and differentiate the sounds of this language? - After 3 months, can you present yourself and ask basic questions about others? - After 6 months, can you understand basic real life conversations eventhough you're not taking part in it? And so on... but I love how you made it real organised for people who maybe don't know how to plan themselves. Real good work there!
Hi there 🩵 thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thorough comment I really appreciate it a lot!! 💐🩵 Thank you also for your feedback, I think your points are totally valid and true! You are right with saying that it is not so much about the time spent for an learning activity but more like whether it was effective, so check marking on certain goals really does make more sense in this case! So thank you a lot for pointing it out to me and taking the time 🩵🍀
I am learning Hebrew and have often overestimated the amount of energy I would have after a day of interpreting (I am working as a signlanguage interpreter) so the realistic planning bit is very important. The scheduling is certainly something that I will try as I really want to pick up constructively working at learning the language.
Hi Emmy, So nice you are learning Hebrew, definitely a language on my “to learn one day” list! Definitely also a tough one though as it has a different script ☺️
Yes when I started learning Hebrew the first time (14 years ago!) I felt the same way as when I learned to read and write as a child. It was such an interesting experience to be totally absorbed by that experience again. I can really recommend it!
For me, the best way to learn a language is immersing yourself in a fully immersive environment which means you need to do exactly absolutely everything you normally do in your native language but in your target one. Also, it helps people to get fluent very quickly as they have more contact with the language on their Daily Basis even for those who have a busy schedule.
Hi! So im so so grateful for you! this video is so well made, thank you for the time you put into it, it shows, also i find it to be really generous the way you share, thank you so much
I'm not a speaker of Portuguese, but from what I've seen while looking at language forums, there's a good chunk of differences between Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese Portuguese. This means that by using the Brazilian flag, it tells others which version you learned. Then again, I'm not very sure. Be sure to double check!

Why must be there the brasilian flag representing portuguese?

Exactly, I speak Brasilian Portuguese so I use the Brasilian flag
In my case because I learn Brazilian Portuguese :) also it is the biggest Portuguese speaking g country 👍
Yeah you are right there are some crucial differences, if you know them however I do not find it problematic to understand European Portuguese 😊
