- Talk’s Kevin O'Sullivan reacts to a new portrait honouring the courage and dignity of the Princess of Wales on the cover of Tatler magazine.
The painting by British-Zambian artist Hannah Uzor took inspiration from Kate’s cancer diagnosis video message to the nation.
Kevin says: "It looks like some kid has drawn it"

It isn't a portrait of Kate Middleton, it is a portrait of Catherine, Princess of Wales, and it is absolutely hideous!

Tatler always wrote favourably towards Meghan and was criticising Catherine. That’s why I stopped buying it, but first I wrote to the magazine and told them and that I thought their tone towards Catherine was unacceptable. So as I see it this portrait is a part of Tatler bullying the princess of Wales. Meghan is a friend of Mr Getty and pulling many strings behind the scenes.
She seems to have many men friends.

Not really . Tartlar has always wrote great about kate . The head of it was camilla’s relative who called employees to write nice things about kate and william . Ana postenak or how ever her name is called exposed this and somehow the story did not get far

" Prestigious schools usually have screening programs to keep the dreck out, but it's like every other screening mechanism, every now and then the dreck gets in. This is reminiscent of cell cycling which has rigorous protocols in place to prevent a cell that too old or damaged from making a copy of it itself (the cell is usually sent into programmed cell death to prevent that). IF a cell escapes this kind of surveillance and does reproduce then that's often the basis for cancer. IMO we're seeing just such a "fail" here and that portrait is the kind of "cancer" one can expect for such a "fail".
If this is the standard of the art school and teachers the student should get a refund.

It fails to capture any of Catherine’s natural beauty and the essence of her personality.
I strongly suspect this was a very deliberate and premeditated malicious failure by people who hate her and and the royal family. The artist may just have been "following orders" to do everything possible create a "portrait" solely for the purpose of ridiculing and humiliating her.

Did the magazine has permission from the Royal Family to use this hideous portrait of Princess Catherine. If no permission then the Royal Family can take legal action against TATLER. Portrait should have a real likeness to the actual person. That face do not resemble Princess Catherine at all. She is beautiful & elegant. The facial features are so old & ugly. Sue this artist immediately for smearing the royal member image. The artist must be paid by the Harkles for PR stunt.

Looked like she was trying to overlay Nutmeg's face over top - and the crown off centre - looks like this was purposefully done to me. Good luck with further commissions.

Looks like one of the art assignments I used to give my second graders. Is the artist a Meghan fan? If she was so brilliant and well educated a painter, then I can only conclude that this was a deliberate slight against the princess.

Lets remember, this artist has decided to present this as a finished work. At no point has she stepped back and looked at the likeness. Not only is it a poor facial likeness, it has also made Catherine at least two dress sizes bigger than she actually is. At any point the artist could have started again.

It seems that the artist wanted to show her dislike of Katherine or the RF. The face looks like a mask. Lifeless.
Charles’ portrait was very sensitive and depicted his sensitivity. For my taste, it should have been just head and shoulders. But it has power and the artist cared about his subject. This is a hatchet job.

Portrait of King Charles is ‘’rubbish’’ …….. and the new portrait of Catherine Princess of Wales looks like it was pained by a person who has never met her - the face is totally wrong and very poorly drawn - its not recognisable at all as Catherine - it look nothing like her at all - quite extraordinary!!!!

I think it was done purposefully. They knew it would cause discussion, and what better way to promote yourself. I don’t know how much positive feedback she will get, but definitely catching some spotlight.

This reminded me of when I was a kid and was rummaging in the attic and found a picture of a woman, who looked like a painting...I grabbed it and ran to my mom crying and told her I found out that dad has a mistress! She was shocked, said what made you think like that? I showed he a picture and my mom burst laughing. She said that's me, silly! 😂😂😂 The picture was so distorted, didn't look like my mom at all so she tossed it in the attic 🤣🤣🤣🤣
