In the past there was a team spirit stat that indicated how well your players play with each other. When you were introducing the new player to the squad it dropped and increased over time as you were playing. I think it may still work in similar fashion, it’s just hidden behind the scenes. Try to experiment with the progression as well. Maybe your progression doesn’t work for him.
