    Yesterday i had Practical exam and something really different happened on heating
    I made a aqueous solution of it and started heating, the water started to boil furiously, bubbling and splashing out, and dense white fumes were coming out, test tube caught fire
    still could not figure out what really happened there

    on heating lead nitrate decomposes with a crackling💥sound along with formation of brown fumes🪔 of nitrogendioxide and a yellow solid residue of lead oxide remain in the test tube it is a decompostion reaction when single reactant decomposes to give two or more product👍👍 thanku sir
