I always loved setting up my village with my mom and now I can set them up with detail!!!
Awesome-glad you’re enjoying the channel!
Hey Carl- I just did a skim through this to see what supplies I'd need and I hope to tackle some of this this weekend when I can sit down and watch in full detail. I just picked up my foam knives the other day as well! Great job here on the channel so far. Very helpful. Also I just got your contest entry! Amazing village and video!
Awesome and thank you! Love your channel as well-been visiting it for awhile!!
I'd love to see one on trick or treat drive.
I will end up doing both eventually!!
Love to see both but penny wise and trick or treat house, I bought the same penny wise from Dept56 love to see you’re ideas . Keep up the beautiful work . Looking forward to seeing your videos.
Your display is outstanding. You really made the peanuts house come alive. I love the shrubs tutorial. And the flowers from the bouquet are perfect.
Awesome and thank you! Glad you’re enjoying the channel!
Carl, your videos are invaluable--very calm, friendly, even-handed and informative; you are an excellent teacher. This display is absolutely beautiful. I'm now hoping to create some of my own platforms, with flowers and shrubs, projects which may have to keep for next year. I like trees too, and have been trying to make some following Kay's Crafts, and now following your tree-making instructions. Thank you again!
Awesome-glad you’re enjoying the channel!!
I'm very much looking forward to the tutorial on the tree making.
You've been a great inspiration, Carl. Thanks for all of these great tutorials.
You bet David! My pleasure!!
So cool. I love the shrub technique. Amazing how create folks are.
I find myself binge watching you right now, and I am learning so much. If you ever relocate, just know in Colorado Springs, CO we have several nice houses for sale on my street. lol.
Awesome thank you! Colorado Springs is a beautiful place!!!
1031 trick or treat drive for sure!
Wow, loved this. I vote for Pennywise but would like to see both. New subbie here. 😀
Thanks and welcome to the channel!!!
So happy to discover your channel! I have an extensive Studio 56 Dickens Christmas village. It inspired me to start a Halloween village and this will be my fourth year building my display. I started with the Michael’s Lemax collection (much more affordable!). I only have five houses, compared to the 30 plus Xmas houses, but am waiting for the sales to add to my collection. I am so excited to learn your amazing techniques. Your vignettes are just incredible!!
Awesome-glad you’re enjoying the channel!!!
@@HalloweenVillagesbyCarl I’m watching all of your tutorials right now. The foam cutting tools are just incredible. Thanks for such great info. I would love to get my youngest son involved and I think he would just love the different tools
I vote Pennywise but super excited to see either. :)
Hi Carl. I’m definitely making some of these this weekend. Thank you for all the information. I’m really into Christmas displays and last year I got into Halloween. I can see myself using some of the techniques in my Christmas villages.
Yep, me too! Haven’t tried much in the way of Christmas, but this year I may also branch out!
Hi Carl, love the videos. Would you use spray adhesive or glue water mixture to finish off the grass?
Glue/water mixture for sure
Pennywise yessssss
Where did you get the fabric for your backdrop? I've searched for something similar with no luck. Your videos are wonderful!
Thanks! All fabric is bought at Joann’s!
Thanks for the video ! I vote for pennywise :-)-Noelle :-)
Carl could you use weather stripping for the curb?
I suppose you could-it’s about the same size, but I haven’t tried it!
Where did you get the great pumpkin sign?
It comes with the house
So did you make the foam base and where did the fence come from and if you did make the foam base do you have a video for that….It looks great.
Yes…watch some of the other tutorials and it’ll answer all of your questions.
Can you please post the link to those pumpkins? I’ve looked everywhere for this things and I couldn’t find them.
