The whole time I was thinking how come Ghazali was against causality when he presented Kalam Cosmological argument, which is completely based on causality. Qaiser cleared that one out at the end.
Ghazali denied secondary causation i.e. he said created things are not the reason why other created things exist. They exist because Allah created them. This is the belief of Muslims. He was an occasionalist. Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah are all occasionalists i.e. the ashariyah, maturidiyah and athariyah.

علامہ خادم رضوی کو مینارِ پاکستان سب سن چکے ہیں، کہ یہ تو "سوروں دے سور" ہیں۔ ان کی اذان کا کیا احترام؟ ایسے بے وقوف فرقہ پرست بندوں کو خلافت یا اسلامی حکومت لانی ہے؟ اگر اس پر انجینئر کہہ رہا ہے کہ جو مشترکہ مسائل ہیں وہ سب مل کر لکھ کر اس کو آئین میں شامل کر کے باقی اسلام کو حکومت سے دور رکھیں، تو اس میں کیا غلط ہے؟ نہیں تو پاکستان میں کوئی سورہ الاعراف ۱۸۸ آیت کا ترجمہ بھی نہیں کر سکے گا، اس پر بھی فتویٰ لگ جانا۔
اب قیصر صاحب یہاں ایک اتنی احمق بات کر رہے ہیں کہ نہیں فرقہ پرستی کا مسئلہ ہی نہیں۔ اوئے بے وقوف انسان، پاکستان میں جتنے بریلوی ہیں انہوں نے ان ڈیکلیرڈ احمد رضا خان کو نبی مانا ہوا ہے، وہ تو آج تک زمین کو ساکن اور فلیٹ کہہ رہے ہیں، وہ گریویٹی کو نہیں مان رہے۔ تو جو احمد رضا خان نے فتوے دیے ہیں، اس سے کیسے پیچھے ہٹ سکتے؟ ورنہ کہو بریلویوں کو مفتی منیب سے یہ فتویٰ لے آئیں کہ احمد رضا خان کے یہ سب فتوے ہم نہیں مانتے اور تمام دیوبندی، اہل حدیث، شیعہ مسلمان ہیں، ان کے پیچھے نماز ہو جاتی، ان کی مسجدیں مسجدیں ہیں اور ان کی اذان کا بھی احترام ہے۔
یہاں قیصر صاحب آ کر انجینئر کو کہہ رہے ہیں فرقہ پرستی کوئی مسئلہ نہیں، اصل مسئلہ دہریت ہے۔ اور جب دہریہ یہی گند بابوں کا اور یاد رہے کہ جس کو اب تک ان کے تمام فالوورز نے نہیں چھوڑا ہوا، ثبوت علامہ خادم رضوی مینارِ پاکستان موجود ہے۔ مولانا الیاس مدنی کی ویڈیو موجود ہے کہ حسام الحرمین پر جو حرف بہ حرف یقین نہیں کرتا وہ میرا فالوور نہیں۔ اور وہیں سب گند لکھا ہوا۔
اب آئیں قیصر صاحب کا مسئلہ کیا ہے۔ جب وہ کسی دہریہ، سیکولر، لبرل یا قادیانی کے ساتھ بیٹھ کر مباحثہ کرتا اور وہ اس کو یہ گند دکھانا شروع کر دے کہ بھائی یہ نظام آپ لانا چاہتے؟ جہاں آپ اختلاف کریں گے، آپ کا سر قلم کر دیں گے تو وہ پھر انجینئر کے خلاف شروع ہو جاتا کہ آپ نے یہ فرقہ پرستی کیوں دکھائی۔ اب ہمارے پاس اس کا جواب نہیں اور یہ لوگ آپ کا مواد دکھاتے ہیں۔
جناب بہادر بنیں، غلط کو غلط کہیں اور اسلام کا دفاع کریں نہ کہ ان بابوں کا جنہوں نے امت کو کئی ٹکڑوں میں تقسیم کیا ہے۔
سو میرے بھائی بغیر صحیح اسلام کے اور فرقہ پرستی اور فرقہ پرستوں کو غلط کہے، آپ نہ دہریہ سے مباحثہ کر سکتے ہیں نہ ہی لبرل سے، نہ سیکولر سے، نہ ہی قادیانی سے۔ اور فرقہ پرستی کی وجہ سے ہی لوگ دین سے بیزار ہو رہے ہیں، تو مسٹر قیصر صاحب بڑا مسئلہ فرقہ پرستی، بابا پرستی ہے نہ کہ دہریت، لبرل ازم، سیکولر ازم وغیرہ۔ سیکولر پھر اسی لیے سیکولرازم کی بات کرتے ہیں کہ ان مولویوں سے ڈرے ہوئے ہیں۔
آخری بات، سیکولرازم، لبرل ازم پورا ہی غلط نہیں، اس میں کچھ چیزیں صحیح بھی ہیں جیسے کہ قرآن مجید میں واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ "دین میں کوئی زبردستی نہیں" اور لبرل ازم برابری، انصاف اور جمہوریت کی بات بھی کرتا ہے اور یہ اسلام کے خلاف نہیں۔ اسلام میں تمام انسانوں کو برابر قرار دیا ہے اور کسی بھی نسلی، مذہبی یا صنفی بنیاد پر تفریق کو ناپسند کیا ہے۔ اور اسلام: اسلام عدل و انصاف پر بہت زور دیتا ہے اور اسلام میں حلال کے دائرے میں رہ کر آپ جمہور کی رائے لے سکتے ہیں، بس حرام کام میں جمہور کی رائے نہیں لی جائے گی۔
یہی ساری باتیں انجینئر نے قیصر صاحب کے پوڈکاسٹ میں اسے واضح کیں اور اسے پتہ نہیں پھر بھی آگ لگی ہوئی۔ اسلامی سیکولرازم کا ٹرم اس نے پکڑ لیا مگر اس کی جو تعریف انجینئر صاحب نے کی اسے چھوڑ دیا؟ زیادہ سے زیادہ قیصر صاحب اگر کوئی اعتراض کر سکتے تھے تو یہ ٹرم پر کرتے، اس کی تعریف جو انجینئر صاحب نے کی وہ تو اسلام کے خلاف نہیں؟

Ghazali denied secondary causation i.e. he said created things are not the reason why other created things exist. They exist because Allah created them.
This is the belief of Muslims. He was an occasionalist. Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah are all occasionalists i.e. the ashariyah, maturidiyah and athariyah.

One fun think I found on Wikipedia when I search about scientists in ottoman empire (yes they had scientists) is that by disagreeing with Aristotelian philosophy, it helped with new discoveries! Look at this on wiki page of Ali Qushji (astronomer physicist) what belief and benefit he got from opposing philosophy

Is there any other reason for this than the fact that medicine does not facilitate access to being entrusted with the management of financial endowments (awqāf), the inheritance of estates (waṣāyā), and control over the wealth of orphans; or to assume offices in the judiciary or government, and to gain advancement over one’s peers as well as the power to overcome one’s enemies?
