This is such a powerful tool but can be hard to understand at first. Thank you for this well done video breaking down the various functionality in a simple way through demonstration.

I have not played around with Affinity for several years, so I was wondering if Sheif ever developed a Lightroom version for Affinity ?

The tutorial is very clear, but I have 2 questions:
1 - Adding the gradient the backgroud image disappears covered by the gradient effects; the only way to show the image again is either to reduce the opacity or by using any of the blend modes. I am rather doubtful about the result.
2 - In case I add a new layer above the one with the gradient ruler disappears; there is any way to reactivate it to get further adjustments?
    Thank you very much

You have MUCH more control using blend options rather than using the presets.
