Sometimes it blows my mind when I listen to this show. The fact that neither person knew you could take college courses and earn an AA degree while in HS is wild. Especially the facts that they all got kids primarily envy and Charla. This has been a thing for a long time smh. My baby brother just graduated from HS last week with his associates as well. And fyi I’m 39 and this was a thing when I was in HS.

Not all high schools offer this option though. My high school didn’t and I’m not even that old. I’m only 26. The most we could do was take AP classes and they only started offering that my last two years of high school.

That’s not offered everywhere and a lot of people are actually not aware of it. Idk just trying to give the benefit of a doubt lol. I took AP courses but didn’t know about dual enrollment. My son just graduated from high school with a high enough GPA for a full scholarship to his chosen school, and thanks to the college courses offered through the high school, he already has a head start on his journey of becoming an educator. It's not "graduating college before high school" cool, but it's still pretty cool to me.
My niece did the same. When she graduated high school hook. She got her associates as well at the sane time she graduated high school
