Regardless of what anyone says, i think Blue's theme is by far the best champion theme since its tone has this ring of difficulty to it. Like it has a tone of "This is it, the final step of our journey" kind of feel. And that feeling of beating him on your first playthrough, to me at least was the best feeling of all the champions, with Iris as a somewhat close second,

Nothing was more epic than challenging blue as champion for the final battle you had put probably 50+ hours into preparing for as a kid. This is one of the greatest Pokémon songs of all time and certainly my favorite.
He's a cocky, arrogant brat. That's what makes him a good rival. He was someone who could really frustrate you, driving you to defeat him. Although...the one in yellow was even worse. He was the only character ever in pokemon who was allowed to BEAT the player. If you lost to him, the game progressed forward. You could not do any battle with him over again. You still white out, but the battle can't be done again. And like the Blue most people know, he ambushes you when you least expect it, in positions where your team is likely depleted. Losing to him was PERMANENT (except in the champion battle I think). And like the Blue most people know, he ambushes you when you least expect it, in positions where your team is likely depleted. And when you DO beat him, his team becomes stronger, ramping up the difficulty against more skilled opponents. His starter is an Evee, and yours is Pikachu. If you loose every time he gets a Vaporeon (One shot). If you win and loose in equal measure, he gets a Jolteon(Slug fest). If you always win, he gets Flareon(Pikachu gets owned). Try that on for size!

3:20, what I don't like about this theme is that it normally goes down at this part. You made it so much better by continuing the climb at the end. Way to make another song I don't normally like rock!

This one of the more terrifying themes. When I was little and got to Gary on the good old red/blue pokemon games. This theme made the battle more intense. It's definitely my favorite boss theme of pokemon games.
the pic at 2:22 shows sooo perfect how it was. Red is standing on the ground and gives his best while Blue is sitting on this blastoilse letting him do the dirty work and doesn't realizes that he's going to lose, cuz he's too full of himself

Probably one of the best rivals in all of Pokemon history. The reason I say one of the best is because Silver is awesome, and the new Wally from OR/AS really grows as a character, and meeting him in Victory Road seeing him with his keystone, and Gallade just makes me feel impressed on how much Wally has grown through the whole game of OR/AS.
