  • Took my S1h out and paired it with the Pentax 50 1.4 with 4X4 1/4 Black Pro Mist...and got some footage of the beautiful area that I live in. This camera is amazing. The colors are so rich and easy to work with. It keys like a dream. So impressed with it. Last few shots of my son are with the Pentax 35 f2. Enjoy!

    Stunning Josh! I just got an s5 and am really happy with it. Could I ask is this the Pentax M 50 m F1.4 and if so what adapter did you use for the S1H? Many thanks :)

    Hi Josh, wonderful work again!! Was this shot in full frame or in cropped mode? :)
    Do you have experience using native l-mount lenses? And if so, do you find your adapted lenses work just as well in terms of IBIS?
    Keep up the amazing work 👌🏼

      Hey! Mainly shot in s35 mode here. I don’t own any native L glass atm, but the ibis seems to work great paired with the vintage lenses.

    Josh, Amazing footage as always. So I'm in a great Dilemma at the moment. I'm on the fence in returning my Z cam f6. Love the look but I'm used to usability when it comes to run and gun. I've seen you use the panny s1, s5, and now the S1h. out of these 3 cameras which will I gave the best image quality, and if I'm just doing video what would the s1h offer over the other 2 for narrative work?
    and last but not least, could I achieve an image as cinematic with the s series as the z cam f6? Thanks in advance.

    • @joshkiddfilms1295
      @joshkiddfilms1295  3 года назад +1

      So the sensor in all of the S cameras is the same sensor that’s in F6, so they all have a fairly similar look. The f6 of course has some additional codecs and frame rates the Panasonic’s don’t have, but that being said I’ve found the codec and frame rate options of the s series more than enough for me, especially with the s1h. As far as the s series in general I feel like I see stuff posted in the Panasonic group that’s just really impressive from a cinema/narrative standpoint. Across all three cameras. The biggest differences between the three models, is only the s1h and s1 shoot 6k internally. All three do it externally, but only s1h is braw capable in addition to pro res raw. Other major differences is the s1h has a low pass filter to help with moire, and a fan for unlimited recording. S1h and S1 also have a full size hdmi and better resolution screen and Evf. Personally, I love the look of the s1h with the low pass filter. It feels very organic.

      @joshkiddfilms1295  3 года назад

      S series cams are certainly more suited for run and gun I think with a screen and ibis. Those alone make shooting much easier
