Holy Galvana! I definitely didn't expect to go inside the Ethereal Colossal's head. When it zoomed in on its face, I was like ooh Ethereal Colossal is awakening, but then it surprised me and zoomed even more! Excited to see what new and wonderous Ethereals we will see. Hopefully with the M-H's modern capabilities, they will deliver an amazing Island. Happy Monstering!

It might not be triple ethereals. It looks like the maytree monster could be the ethereal version of catalyzt. The meebs only represent the elements, so it could be different.

The Maytree monster is a triple element ethereal of Plasma, Shadow, and Crystal because the meebs used to make them represent the colors of those elements

They formed the new monster's egg, meaning this island will most likely have triple element ethereals. I started playing MSM in October and it’s weird but very fun to see a new island trailer and being prepared for a new island to come out! I can tell why OG MSM Players get so excited about these!
Its been a year since I’ve first played, and I am so grateful for this game. I’m also grateful we’re getting some new content and some new monsters!!!!
I’m very thankful it will have to do with the mirror islands, because right now they just feel like extra breeding structures and nurseries for the naturals, but with a unique mechanic related to Ethereal Workshop they’ll be a lot more valuable

This is literally THE island. Space Island used to be my number 1, but after wave 4, things changed. This island has a special place in my heart, and nothing can replace it...hopefully. Happy (late) first birthday btw Workshop!
My theory about the island: basically those little creatures will collect the elements of the ethereals, and that structure will fuse the elements, and in the trailer it shows 3 critters entering the structure, that is, it appears to be something with 3 elements, ethereals with 3-4 -5 elements, and this explains the name of the island ethereal workshop, the colossals were creating the ethereals but when they started making the ones with 3 elements it went bad because they were unstable, so they created another island (ethereal island) and left only the ethereals with 1 and 2 elements on this island, and the 3-4-5 elements were forgotten forever on this new island, the ethereal workshop
"It's all in your head" never made so much sense. I remember this trailer as if it were yesterday. I was out of the house and didn't want to go out to see the trailer. Then in this place I got Wi-Fi and watched the video.

I literally couldn’t hear things until 8PM due to the type of day I had, so I was already temporarily deaf by the time the trailer happened at 2pm since I woke up only 2 hours earlier.

Well it is an Ethereal Expansion, congrats to those who got that right (including myself), though it is through all new mechanics. It looks to be late game and requires the Mirror Islands, so I'm interested to see how that will work out...
So let me get this, we're inside the Ethereal colossal's brain or something (possibly hinting at the spirit of creation decoration we got at the beginning of anniversary month, also said by Kazilleon), harnessing energy from the mirror islands to transform little globs of goo and them combine said transformed globs into eggs? This is quite an interesting new mechanic. (Also love the design of this island)
Seeing all of the community making predictions and being excited is just heartwarming too see all of the community (this does not make sense on purpose)
the little blobs absorb the ethereal energy from the mirror islands, and then fuse to create the 3/4/5? element ethereal. you can see the new monster there's a plasma blob, a shadow blob, and I think a crystal blob
a lot of people love this trailer for the new update and sound but my favorite part was at the end when monster handler matt and Jenn jumped on screen and said "its islandin' time" and islanded all over us!
This is awesome and all but, I really really hope we get the new map in this update too, that was one of the features I was the most hyped about. This new ‘island’ looks really really cool too though, can’t wait for it to drop :3

i just realized that the colours represent the ethereal elements. Green is geode, blue is ghazt, gray with red eyes is grumpyre ect

What I liked most about this trailer wasn't the new skins or new island, what I liked the most was how cute ghazt is
One of the coolest sounding monsters I've ever heard.
This new island looks so alien and wacky can’t wait for next week and also nice to see the double Ethereals on the Colosseum
At 2:45 it shows three of the ethereal elements the purple one is plasma the green one is crystal and the black one is shadow
