Wow, that is so much better. Still a little bit of popping but it is acceptable, nothing like it was before. Credit to you for being to be able to accept a small criticism and not take it as a personal attack as seems to be the norm for many in this day & age. 👍 Edit: That was terrific! Having you base get flooded makes for great video content. In all the other videos of this game I've seen they have been robbed of this by being warned in the comments section of the impending flooding. In regard to the the Truck, you don't have to drive it to always have it with you or to have it return to base with all the loot on board. Well done overcoming the death loop & we even got bonus content after your sign off. 😊
@@badpilot4271 Thank you! I will keep working on the sound to see if I can make the popping better! My first base flooding was really stressful, haha! I do really appreciate your advice and support!
I just finished watching all 9 episodes of your Planet Crafter series and I have subscribed to your RUclips channel. You are doing fantastic! Both my daughter (26) and I have played through to the end of this game and some things you pick up by doing and some you just have to be told. These are not spoilers and I would never do that to a new player. These are just certain things that would make your playing easier and are part of the game itself. So, let me know when you can if you would like that. Thanks!
Hi! Thank you so much for your encouragement and for subscribing! How fun that you got to play this with your daughter, I love that! Sure, I will take any tips that aren't spoilers, I need all the help I can get, haha!
@@Kmomkin Thank you! 1. Open your Inventory screen. At the top left of both your personal inventory and whatever container you are accessing are 4 small cubes, 3 white and one dark. That is your organizer. Click it and all your items under it will be grouped alike. This can help with seeing quickly how many of an item you currently have. 2. Moving items. CTRL plus left click will move all of a specific item. No need to click each item to move them all. 3. Under the organizer cubes is a right pointing arrow, on the left, and a left pointing arrow, on the right. Clicking these arrows will try to move everything to the other side. I say try. If you don't have enough room, it will move as many as you have room for and then stop. 4. There is no "right" way to play. Some people rush through the terraforming. Some people build vast bases in each biome. Some people just farm veggies and other things. Play as you wish, change your focus if something appeals to you as you go. It's up to you. Nothing will happen once you reach that magic "complete" number for total terraforming. It just keeps going and so can you. Yes, once you reach that point you do have choices but nothing automatically will stop or start. Stopping or going forward is up to you. 5. Coordinates. At the lower left hand side of your screen are a set of numbers in a xxxx:xx:xxxx format. Left set of numbers are your North/South coordinates. Right set of number are your East/West coordinates. Middle set is your elevation coordinates. And this is where an onscreen compass comes in really handy (I've seen you build a compass so this is not a spoiler). Go North and the left set of number increases, go South to decrease. East to increase the right set of numbers, go West to decrease. There can be negative numbers as well. Some things are underground so it can take a bit of running around to get the right numbers if you are looking for an item by coordinates only. 6. Those weird things that opened that wall in the Mushroom Cave. They were on small stands that had numbers on the front. Those numbers are the coordinates for something you need to find. You already found the first one, the stand that opened the stone wall leading you to that huge underground spaceship in the Mushroom Cave. The stand inside had coordinates on it as well, so go back, write that number set down, and try to find it, again at your leisure. As far as I can tell, there is no overall timer in the game counting down to finish a quest. Remember to thoroughly look around everywhere in places like that cave. Treasures can be in a corner or behind a table or peeking out from other places. 7. When exploring a cave or a wreck, most people do a "left side loop" or a "right side loop" so that can find everything and not get lost. Set your multitool to deconstruct when you enter since there can be walls to unbuild, not just chests. Speaking of wrecks, you will usually have to go through each wreck about 3 times. First time, you're just looking at everything and opening chests. Second time will be after you find the chip that gives you the T2 deconstruct ability. There can be a third time when you use an item that allows you to open more doors in the wrecks. I think that's it for now. Play on!
@@realleather100Thank you for the great tips! I definitely would not have figured out the coordinates on my own! Inventory tips are super useful! I can’t wait to try all 7 tips the next time I play! YAY! Thank you again!
@ Thank you so much! I am recording right now (running a bit behind because one of my teens is sick!) and was checking back to make sure I understood all your advice and realized my thank you message may not have gone through to you! Sorry! Thanks for the great advice, I am trying some of it out right now!!! 😊
