Mine went from an annoying little drip, to a noticeable leak at the cutoff and throttle shafts (probably because i finally got around to changing the fuel filter haha). I'll be attempting this this weekend. Thanks for a great and informative video. 👍
Great video, really need to do this job myself. The ole MF245 has probably leaked enough fuel over the years to pay for a new pump, lol...now to fix that issue :)
My dad's International B414 won't shut off when you pull the stop rod. Probably because the fuel shut off spring is seized, hopefully replacing the o rings will fix the problem. Great educational video on how to work in the injection pump.
I resealed the top and I have fuel pumping out of the pump but no fuel going to the injectors. I put everything back the way it came off. Tractor ran fine before. Where did I go wrong?
@@gacatskinner4835 Thank you for responding. It's a Massey Ferguson 230, and I've really not worked on tractors before. Would you know where it is on that particular one?
Thanks! MF290 leaking like a sieve right now. Gonna try this today!
Ten stars. God explanation of how important it is to push the throttle shaft down in order to see, how the spring is mounted.

Success! Thank you sir. She's leak-free for the first time in the 20 years I've owned her 👍
Great video, best explanation yet!
Great video. I had an idea how to do it, but your tutorial gave me the confidence to try it. Literally a half hour job. Thank you

It’s also possible that the actuator is not in the slot. I talk about that during the reassembly. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the video very helpful in Ireland😊☘️
Thank you! Great video! We can do this!😊
Thanks so much!!!
That sorted out your problem

Hey do u know if that's same process for mf285 w perkins? Thanks
Does the piece of equipment this pump is coming out of need to be at top dead center before removing?
You don’t have to remove the pump to perform the repair in the video.
My own pump from Ursus 2812 is the 3238F510 7135-110, do you know if you do the set you show (S.69290)?
What year is this tractor?
You mentioned shutting the fuel valve off, but didn't show where it is or how to do it.
They are located in different places, depending on what your machine is.

It should be on the bottom of the fuel tank. Look up under the tank where the fuel line comes out and you should see the valve handle.
@@gacatskinner4835 Thanks!
