Jungkook once said "girl group dances are well suited to my body" lol. He literally has the best attitude towards girl group dances. Whereas some other male idols when asked to dance gg dances, dance in an exaggerated manner, making fun of 'feminine moves' or making sure nobody questions their masculinity, meanwhile Jungkook takes the choreos seriously. I love watching him dance.
Or they have a bad attitude about being asked to do such a thing as if the gg choreo is beneath them. This is rare but it happens. And passes me off every time.
This just shows how sure Jungkook is of his masculinity and doesn't let some "dance steps" question it unlike few boys who are afraid to do the same steps in order to save themselves from being called feminine

although nowadays thats not really the case, maybe cos the current generation of idols are gen z and less fussed about that kind of stuff. like seonghwa from ateez or yeonjun of txt 🤷♀

bts used to do a lot of girl group dances in between music shows during early days, it was a lot of waiting and what else to do than learn dances from other groups performing
bts don't hold any grudges against other groups and they always vibed and danced along during the award shows because they genuinely love music and they don't care what others would say about them.. there's so many fancams of the members dancing in award shows, an iconic one is the red velvet fancam where bts where next to them and dancing that they caught the attention the of the person filming 😄

That was until 2018 that maknae line had to force themselves to stop reacting to ggs specially twice and bp because fans started shipping them... I love to watch fancams reaction and i noticed this difference...
@@richakaithwas5724 Did they say that or are you just assuming that? Most of the time groups stop interacting when their fandoms get into fanwars or when their fans get mad at the groups they're interacting with because of rumors.
Kpop idols go on things called “Music Shows” where they promote their new singles and album every weekday on a different show (think old school MTV, VH1, 106 and Park). On those shows while they’re backstage they see the performances of all the other groups, so that’s usually where they see and learn these dances.
Most of these dances are from 2nd gen girlgroup (groups that debuted mid 2000's to 2015) at that time the dances were cute and easy but nowadays with the 4th gen taking over the ggs choreography got so much intense great example O.O by nmixx my god that dance will break your bones

Things aren't quite as clear cut as I my previous comment may have implied, at least not when you stray away from the Big 3 companies. Some people categorize by literal generations (SES>SNSD>RV>Aespa), others by concept/style (dance-heavy>poppy>cutesy>girlcrush).

7:03 Seventeen is one of the few groupes who's loved by most of the kpop fandoms including ARMY, they seriousely are the funniest group ever and also the 13 members are going to celebrate their 9th universary this year, it's so rare for a group that has that many memebers to stay together for this long and that should tell you a lot about their personnalaties...they're just so likable
i feel like you guys should watch going seventeen. it's like run bts but instead of bts it's a kpop group named seventeen. seventeen is also under hybe, they have a total of 13 members which seems like a lot but surprisingly it didn't take me long to learn all their names. going seventeen is so funny and entertaining and i think you guys would like it alot since you guys also love watching run bts. please do consider this recommendation :)
To answer your question about the kpop group with the most members techniquely it is NCT which currently has 23 but their entire concept is that they keep adding members. The reason I say techniquely though is because they don't actually promote as 23 members all the time usually they'll just have one song with all the active members while they normally promote in units which act as their own seperate groups with some of the members overlapping (NCT 127, NCT Dream, NCT U, WayV). It is kinda complicated but not as much as you may think. So yeah NCT has the most overall members but for a single group which is currently actively the one with the most members is Seventeen (the group behind BTS at 6:37 lol they may look serious in that clip but let me tell you their the farthest thing from it) and no they don't actually have Seventeen members lol. The group has 13 members but since they have 3 sub units (Performance, Vocal, Rap) and their 1 team 13+3+1= 17 (that's what they always say when people ask but in actually they originally had 17 members but during their training 4 left, some of the 4 are still active though) but yeah I'd say that they have the most members that are active in all comebacks an performances as far as I know. I also know groups with a lot of members may seem intimidating at first but they are defintely still worth checking out. I'd love for you guys to check out groups like NCT, Seventeen (SVT), Got7, EXO or Stray KIds (SKZ). Girl groups too like TWICE, Red Velvet, Mamamoo! Kpop is full of many talented artists so I hope you'll check more out! You'll also be able to see fun interactions between BTS and other idols!

Since a lot of people are requesting you to check out Seventeen( 6:55 the group that you called serious lol) I thought you might consider reacting to them and please do, they are also known as the "Kings of Synchronization" as all of them are good dancers and are always in sync whenever performing.BTS is my favorite artist but Seventeen are definetly the funniest lol, "going seventeen" is legendary, episodes 3,4,23,24,25,2627,28,40,41(2020),and episodes 9,10,16,17,23,24,25,26,31,32(2021) are some of the best and funniest I've seen in any TV and I mean it... They are just hilarious and I'm pretty sure ARMY would want you to react to them.
OMG you should watch compilations of BTS and other idol interactions, we can give you certain groups. But in general I love how appreciative a lot of these groups are for one another. Like even if its simply behind the scenes so they don't cause fanwars or shipping. Its rare to see jealously or hatred shown on camera or from a fancam. Like BTS knowing this choreography is because they're genuine fans of these people. And I mean the music is catchy even when its not your taste, the beats get you all the time.

6:55 lol it's so funny to me how they said "look at the group behind them, they're so calm" knowing that they're one if not the most chaotic group in kpop lol, that group is called seventeen and they are 13 members, some of the members are very close with bts members as they are from the same company and they have some very fun shows if you're interested, "going seventeen" is just like run bts and they were in special HYBE x Game caterers which is very fun and I recommend you to watch it😊

Hey guys, please just make my dream come true and react to seventeen, 13 members might seem like a lot to you but I promise you it's so easy to recognise their faces and memories their names once you get to know them.
And it also helps since a lot of ARMYs are CARATS(their fandoms name) as they are one of the funniest groups in kpop and also good friends with some of bts's members (Jungkook is friends with Mingyu, DK and The 8. Jimin is close with Vernon and Suga is Woozi's friend). You're reactions are really my favorite and the most enjoyabl, so please consider reacting to their varieties (going seventeen, in the soop...)

this video is a bit outdated, but i'm glad you enjoyed^^;; it's nice to see some other idol groups being recognized! girl groups tend to be targets of especially harsh treatment in the industry, so i look forward to seeing growth in the support they receive🖤

little sidenote: those songs and their dances where mainy from like the early 2010s. while theres an overall trend in kpop groups to focus more on perfomance with an intense choreography, id say that change is especially boticable when comparing earlier girlgroup choreographys with the ones we get nowadays
those early choreos are iconic but are admittedly not as difficult as the boygroup choreos fron the same era. that changed a lot tho. also the choreo was alot more focused on stereotypical cutsie moves

I think the boygroup NCT has the most members, they have 23 I believe. However they don't perform together they have like 4-5 subunits mixed with the members.

It is not just BTS who can dance to girl groups and learn most idols do it. But this is one of the reasons I fell in love with BTS seeing their sense of humor but you should watch other kpop groups to see that they also have fun dancing to other girl groups and boy groups as well.
I mean, if you want BTS compilations, whether they be funny or wholesome, I believe Sugarmyy it THE go to channel ! I love her compilations and she always explains the context so you are not that lost when watching it.

i think now in modern day kpop girl group concepts are more diverse, but you guys are pretty much right that back in the day there were generally 2 categories: sexy and cutesy lol. but theres also a super popular genre of girl group concept called "girl crush" which focuses on being fierce and bold and its usually done to attract more of a female audience rather than male. for newer groups with younger members, it has now evolved into the "teen crush" concept which is similar but usually more a colorful, poppy, and youthful

the group with the most members is NCT. they have 4 different sub-units within the NCT branding (NCT 127, NCT U, NCT Dream, and WayV) i think they have 22 or 23 members. the group after them would be SEVENTEEN with 13 members.

For a long time Girl's Generation was the biggest girlgroup,with 9 members (now there are 8). Now a few girlgroups have 10/11 members but there are most likely from produce shows,so their contract is like 2/3 years only. Twice have 9 members and they've been around for 7 years so they're the biggest one. (I could be wrong,i don't know if there are bigger ones)

FYI, the "entire Korean music industry" is not equal to just "kpop groups" You're not including the thousands of solo artists in various other categories; the soloists such as k-indie artists, metal, rock, k-rappers and even other bands that do alternative rock, neo funk and so on. Not all music bands in korea are "kpop groups" and they don't fall under kpop. Kpop isn't an umbrella term for every song that's korean..it's just a genre. That's like saying the entire US music industry is "pop" or all the boybands from western countries are just "rock bands". Makes no sense right?

2nd Gen groups like Girls Generation are legendary in Korea, maybe not as big as BTS in global scale, but definitely legendary, so almost every group knows their dances. EXID, Twice, Red Velvet, etc. these are all very big groups as well and a lot of their dances tend to go viral, so it's only natural other groups pick up on the moves too.
NCT have 23 members. However the record is 29 from an old group in the 90s. U need to watch more kpop! EXO and Red Velvet (esp EXO) highly recommend. also they just know the moves. Exo and bts do this together during award shows, they just like the songs and dance

NCT has the most members for sure! There are 23 of them I think but split up into subunits (NCT 127, NCT U, NCT DREAM, WayV). You should check out some NCT crack videos because all the members are HILARIOUS. They’re also a good way of getting to know them and their unique personalities. I’d recommend “Iconic NCT moments”, “Multilingual NCT sharing one braincell” & “NCT are family friendly I swear” 💜

the amount of times they could see these dances on broadcast especially if they are promoting at the same time so while waiting for their turn to perform they could watch the performances of those groups on their waiting room while doing their make up or resting

Girl group dances are mostly more focused on hand movements. Basically just traditional feminine movements. There is alot of times boygroups cover girl group dances. The same way for girl groups covering boygroup dances. For covers they collab as well basically.
For I don't really have a favorite but I remember the one with MONSTA X's and BTOB's Minhyuk in it.

For the group with the most members it is NCT. They have 23 members and will have 26 soon. They are SME's nevěsta boygroup. One of my ults.
They have units NCT U, NCT 127, NCT DREAM and WAYV.
NCT U is the only one that has rotating members. Sometimes you have just 2 members and sometimes 8 for example. For NCT 127 they are the most known and the most experimental ones. And have mainly the older members. They are a 9 member group but used to be 10.
NCT DREAM has the "youngest" members basically. When they debuted in 2016. They were supposed to have system when someone graduates they leave the group but fans got used to them ig so SME put Matk back in the unit. They are a 7 member group.
WAYV is the chinese unit. They sing in mandarin and not all are chinese there are members that are chinese and aren't in the group. They have 1 Thai and 1 Taiwanese member. They are a 7 member group might become 6 because a member Lucas is on hiatus for a long time. But he is supposed to Comeback this year ^-^
Then there is SUPERM which is SME's super group. Has EXO- Kai and Baekhyun, SHINEE- Taemin,NCT Taeyong and Mark and Ten and Lucas.
Thee should be a new unit that will have 2 members that were basically jobless without NCT U or NCT 2020 and 2021.

WAYV has another name because they are under a chinese label so they mainly focus on the chinese market.

Just some information about them. They may not be as close friends like BTS but as well I think they are all friends. There are some that are really communicative like Ten and Chenle. For Taeyong henis the Leader of the whole ass group so yeah. He helps out and at the same time is the Dance Leader. I really love him. He became 1 of my ults really fast. The same as for the whole group.
Favorite unit ? Actually not sure. Thougth it would be a specific unit but I came to love them all.
