Sitting here with tears in my eyes. This takes me back to some beautiful memories. Thank you!
Yes indeed same here. This song was on of my favorites. My sister and I would dance in front of the mirror and you couldn't tell us we weren't going to marry the jackson brothers lol
Damn....That's real AF, bro!!!
Quintin, copy that brother 💖
😪
Your words are heart felt brother. I feel the same.
This song actually gives me hope that we CAN all live together, and help each other...

Nothing compares to it maybe Enjoy Yourself is a distant second?
maybe blues away and this second but i love this
Happy 64th birthday celebration for Michael Jackson!! What a blessing it would be to have seen how he would move to the music at the age of 64!
Gamble and Huff best producers of all time!
Facts!
They worked MAGIC
the breakdown on this song...from 04:16 chills...
Damn this song gives me chills. Born in 81 but soul is older 😆
Mike’s voice was “Changing” here and he STILL was SANGIN’ his ass off !
That beautiful Gamble and Huff Philadelphia sound, great songwriters.
🎶 Yes indeed 👌
Gotta look into those guys💪🏾
Gamble and Huff wrote this? Now that you say it I can hear their influence all over this record!
Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes WITH TEDDY TOO !!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
@@bgillen3 Well it def shows that they UNDERSTOOD MJ, because THIS is the kind of song he would have written for himself to sing. The lyrics are all about what he LIVED. Wouldn't be surprised if HE had some input in the song. GREAT song and NO ONE delivers like MJ!
Stlill listening November 2019. Born in 1958 same year as Michael. The music of our era no one can touch. Real Talents.
Do you know how lucky you are to be born the same year as Michael Jackson . How beautiful !

@@davidewers9379 Same here bro.
The Jacksons are the musical family of them all.
Whether it is disco, soul, pop and even about humanity; the Jacksons were just superb.
Brother Michael Jackson sings all the way.
This is my favourite Jacksons classic and what a classic.
You are so right.
I keep this in my head long after the song is over;
ALL. DAY. LONG
I am a Honduran-American Dude born in Arizona! I love 3 of Katherine's Children. MJ/ Number #1 / Janet/ #2 and Jermaine / #3 all are super talented.
I love that Michael is in Heaven! Janet had a baby with a Billionaire Arab Dude ( the baby is set for life/ the Dad from Qatar)!
Nutin better than 70s Old school R & B. The very best. These young folk don't have a clue,
I'm sure we do 😊
agree
I do i'm 22 and Born in 1997 I love this type of music I love debarge, the jacksons, earth wind & fire, switch, the blackbyrds, the whispers and many other old school artist.
I was born in 2004 and I knew this song
jdumbia2887 me too
This sound like a Gamble and Huff production. What a beautiful collaboration with the Jacksons 5
THEE ROYAL FAMILY OF MUSIC! PERIOD!
The yr I graduated HS. I cannot believe this song is 43 yrs old. I awoke this morning thinking abt everything thatz been happening as of late, and I wanted 2 hear this. To George Floyd, and all the other GEORGE FLOYD'S, who have died at the hands of hate: REST IN PEACE🕆♪❤🕊.
George F died hard and sadly, RIP , but he died due to his actions and most grown ups understand this .. ask that women that he terrorist and robbed what she thinks?
Actually 41 yrs old. This came out in 1979.
@@k.c.marshall921 It came out in 1976!
Damn and I thought I was old LMAO! I just turned 42 July 5th and this song is 43 yrs old....WOW!!!
1977
Beautiful song that can evoke memories you have buried deep. Listening to this song reminds me of all those good times, family (mine now in eternal paradise) laughing and enjoying each others presence in the brilliance of a glowing golden warm sun on earth. 💕
A beautiful song ❤️❤️❤️
Michael Jackson:
He was before my time! I am aware he was the biggest superstar in entertainment from about 1975 to his death ( he was 50 at his death)!
He was such a great singer and dancer! My uncle has at least 5 of his vinyl albums! MJ is missed all over the world/ RIP😄
more like 1968 until his death,if you count the Jackson 5 as well.
such a mature voice he had at such a young age. He was destined to be King.
Still touches me in 2020!
Sleep well Mike!
Summers that would last forever takes me back to a glorious childhood not a care in the world 😊
Yes they would last forever
Yep though they don’t last forever in physical form they do last forever through our memories via music that is priceless & unforgettable.
I love this Jackson song leave vocals by Michael Jackson
I don't remember ever hearing this song until now; better late than never
The classiest side of the disco era, Gamble and Huff plus the Jackson’s!
One of my favorite songs from The Jacksons - post Motown! Michael was and always will be bad! RIP Michael!
Yes, it's also a favourite of mine as well. It was like you felt his emotions when singing this song.
@Juan Gomez its 2009 when he died😒
The Jacksons were going to start out as four with Jermaine as lead singer. But Michael said what about me. And he became the missing piece to the puzzle, the main piece. The rest is history. Thanks for the Memories-The Jackson 5 / Jacksons. RIP Michael Jackson.
Michael:
Motown Executives wanted Michael as the lead singer! They thought he was more marketable than Jermaine!
I am aware that before the Sony Music Catalog sold for 750 Million that two siblings helped support the others!
Michael and Janet had the big money in the family! Jermaine was far behind MJ and Janet!!
Tito, Marlin,Jackie, Rebe, Latoya, Randy and any others got money for years from Michael!
The best investment Michael made was his music catalog (Paul McCartney told him to.invest in catalog music).
Katherine will use that money ( 750 Million) to likely give all the surviving children 30-40 million when she passes away!
@@kdtennis1 You misunderstood what I was saying. I was talking about before they ever went to Motown when Joe Jackson was getting the group together after seeing he had some talented kids. Jermaine was going to be the lead and the group was starting out as 4. But after hearing Michael sing at school is when he decided to add him to the group as lead singer. They didn't go to Motown till sometime later. They got noticed after performing at the Apollo Theather. That's when the got an Audition to Motown.
A FOREVER HIT!!!
We need songs like this TODAY. To inspire each other. I miss the Jacksons
The 1st song I heard playing after his death was announced. Continue to rest King, you will NEVER be forgotten 👑🤍
Bad to the bone mj our bday coming up 8/29
This song was written by the legendary McFadden and whitehead ,this self titled album is also my personal favorite group album the jacksons did on epic!, Michael Joseph Jackson will always be the goat God bless him!
Forever one of my favorites
Nothing compares to Michael's voice.
A special man.
An all time timeless classic...love this song!
How smooth is this joint, if you don't know. Ask someone, because this is the truth.
This reminds me of my parents Christmas parties in the 70s. The turntable was in a radiogram under a big wooden lid. So nostalgic.
In love with THIS SONG! Grateful for what The Jackson Brand gave to music and moreover the world.
RESPECT
Spring 1977 really good

"Show You the Way to Go" is a song written by Gamble and Huff and recorded by the Jacksons for their 1976 CBS debut album, The Jacksons. Released as a single in early 1977, it was the only number-one song for the group in the UK. The message is 100% Gamble and Huff.
Great song from the Spring of 1977. Miss the time, music, people, etc. Now only part of history and personal memories...
I had never heard this one before ,: love it. 😍
It was from spring 1977
It's alright now!
Me either but I suppose it’s better late then never hearing this song 🎶
Same here. Only started to hear it a few months back thanks to Google
1977 girls everywhere
Love the Jackson's grew up in N.Y. C. Listening to their music as a kid. My favorite group all-time.
Me too, Luis!
My late mother-in-law played this back to back when we touring California in 2011 to visit MJ. She was one of MJ's major fans.
The power of music is like no other .❤❤🧞♂
Yes!!!!
Michael just before he hit the stratosphere! 🎤🎶🎙🎼🎵🎺
Hearing this song just brings me back to when I was a kid I elementary school & the good days of music! Love the harmony, melody & the music! Classic
One of my favorite songs by the brothers and that's saying alot
Heard this for the first time driving through Philadelphia, on our way to the shore, when Michael died...Fell in Love with it Instantly...
Cherish this precious yet sad memory....!
Although I love this song as it is light and optimistic, when I hear it, I feel pain that Michael is no longer here. It is hurtful especially if we know that Michael was sincere about his message and he suffered so much during his lifetime. To me, this song has the same message as "Man In The Mirror" and really shows his soul.
Gamble and Huff!! They took MJ and the Jackson's to Philadelphia and the 5 did the rest!
Yes indeed such beautiful music and lovely times. But those days are definitely gone. They don't make songs like this no more. This song is also one of my favorite and no matter how old I am I still love this beautiful song 2 this very day.
look at anderson paak and bruno mars, its not michael but it reminds me of MJ
I only first heard this song like a month ago
Im a 80s babies and i love everything from the 40s up
This song just make you feel so carefree💓💓
I heard this on WBLS on the quiet storm a few years back.. In love with this .. MJ was definitely a musical genius 👏 🙌 👌 💕❣️
Happy Birthday Micheal...I loved this song when I was a child and still to this day it brings back so many memories.
A beautiful coming together of two of the best musical forces of creativity in their time: Gamble and Huff and the Jacksons. Sad it was so short-lived. You can hear that Philly sound all up in there.

Always loved this song since I first learned to walk and talk 39 years later it is still a Jam. Much love to the Jackson for their wonderful music and memories..
Niketa Hi ! Let me show you the way to dance with Motown Music. (A.B. from Liège Belgium Europe ).
Old school jacksons.
Andre Franklin This is on repeat on my Ipod
I was 5 yrs old and I remember the orange record by Epic and this was on the opposite side of Enjoy Yourself this was 1976. I loved both sides of this 45. I used to sing this as a 5 yr old and did his dance moves. This is when the Jacksons special came on tv
The Epic logo had orange and white layers before they changed it with the better one!
Had forgotten about this song until it showed up on my Spotify feed glad it showed up it’s like rekindling an old relationship feels as good now as than love this song

This one here, is the jam!!!! I dig this tune. I heard it on the radio today. I realized I don't have this in my vinyl collection. So, I looked it up on RUclips and now I'm jammin.
From Motown to Philly, the cream always rises to the top. This is an unsung song in the huge arsenal. Thanks for posting!
I remember seeing J5 on show performing this song in 1978. Loved it ever since!
You telling our age. They was on American Bandstand , Dick Clark and Soul Train, Don Cornelius. 11/1967 baby

A beautiful classic 🎶
The Jackson 5/The Jackson’s and Jackson family are to me the most talented family to ever grace Hollywood. Especially Michael, wow they are something special but man Michael just takes it to levels no one can. He’s the GOAT. Michael Jackson Greatest Entertainer in the world. 2021 his music lives forever.
The nostalgia brings tears to my eyes.
1977. I was a Afro wearing 13 y/o living in Houston with my mother, off South Park Blvd. Wed relocated from Dallas. I attended St. Matthew's Lutheran School downtown.
Mother bought a sharp,
new, loaded, '77 Mercury Monarch Ghia Coupe. Raven Black and Dove Gray from Plaza Lincoln Mercury. Our salesman was James Buchanan. He was the only Black salesman at that dealership.
The Monarch was black with a half gray vinyl top, gray pin stripping, gray lower body belt mouldings and wire hubcaps. 302 V8, AC, gray leather, reclining bucket seat interior, cruise, power options, and most importantly a Quadrasonic AM/FM 8 Track.
Everywhere we drove that car, people stopped and complimented it. I remember riding around and blasting this tune while listening to KMJQ Magic 102.9 with Y-Vonne St.John.
Sweet Soul Memories :-)
That the year I was born
Beautiful, descriptive memory brother. Like a painting, I could see it, feel the joy, youthful excitement. I lost my mom last year, and I am trying to detail all my great memories with her. Thanks for inspiring me.
I was 8yrs old when this came out growing up in (South) Memphis, TN!!✌🏾✊🏾🎶
BEAUTIFUL memories! I was 14 when it was released, going into my second year of high school in New York City. This song has always grabbed me.
Thank you for that, love saves the day!
All of the early 70s baby's love this song ! I was born in 1981. Huge Michael Jackson fan. I look at this Era as a transitional period for MJ and his brothers. Classic Jam. ❤
This is the melodies ever you just cant stop playing them and remnesing love it all ways and 4 ever THANKS TO ALL THE ARTISTS THAT GAVE US THE BEST 🎶 EVER👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Wow...What a powerful song...the words truly motivates you to wanna be a better person... It's all up to each of us - just one person at a time...!
Michael ,Whitney, Robin Williams and Jim Morrison had talent and artistic genius beyond words. I will never understand the amount of pain that pushed them all to slowly destroy themselves. They were all loved and admired throughout the world like Royalty and yet that wasn't enough. May they be at peace with the LORD and receive all the blessings of heaven.
And prince, Aretha Franklin and George Michael

My all time favorite song from the Jacksons! Never, ever get tired of this song. Takes me way back and reminds me of a time when music was all about "talent" and quality and actually made you feel something inside. Those were the days. Sigh. 😔
