Lord have mercy, I was only 6 years old when Michael Jackson and his brothers song this song on the Ed Sullivan show in 1969 and I do remember watching that show back in those days. I'm 60 years old right today in 2023 and this still Amazings me to hear this song by a little teen boy, very "God- Gifted" at a young age. Love it and Smokey Robinson I believe is shocked and the whole world was too by this young talented young man.❤️👍🏽🙏🏿🤗💯

The Jackson were inimitable. They brought us s much joyful music. This song is not sanguine, but has a gorgeous melody. I also really loved Jermaine's voice, alone. These lads took so much abuse at the hands of the evil music promoters, yet they recovered and went on to have families. May God protect them in every way. RIP Michael.

The truth about this is in 1969 when this was on the flip side of "I Want You Back" no one cared. They didn't want to hear that bluesy sounding song. Black people were running away from the Blues claiming that it was old slavery music.
But I had Big Boy, by the Jackson 5 on steel town records. And I bought I want you back, as well and I must admit that I loved Who's Loving you, way more because it was the flip side of Shop Around that I also had. So trust me I was truly impressed.

This song reminds me of my uncle Tony that was murdered 28 years ago. I can remember him singing this when I was about five years old growing up in the Robert Taylor Homes on the south side of Chicago. RIP.
