I'm amazed at how many people have commented on the drum shield thinking it had something to do with the pandemic. This is a common setup to shield the stage from drum sound so the singer's mic doesn't pickup the drums and cause feedback. You'll see it in most live performances.

She’s 18 years old and shockingly enough she writes literally all of her music. The guy playing the guitar is her brother and he helps her co- write sometimes and he always plays an instrument for her when she performs.
His name is Finneas and he is also the producer of all of Billie's music, he is an important part of Billie's success.

I enjoyed your reaction and like the others have said she has a very varied style. She intentionally wants to appeal to many and doesn't want to be boxed into one category. (But there is definitely a new maturity to her sound and I can't wait to see what the next album will be like.) As to your comments that she was comfortable in her clothes and style, that is her choice. But in some ways this was a more subdued outfit (check out her concerts) but she was doing this performance for the Democratic National Convention and I think she understood what was needed. Also the outfit was very similar to the animated video that was released with the single. Please keep the Billie Eilish reactions coming.

Thanks for the great reaction. I agree with pretty much everything you said. You should react to "You should see me in a crown", but make sure it's the vertical video, not the alternate (for those who can't handle the vertical one).
These 2 are remarkable - her & Finneas recorded her entire EP and her album “when we all fall asleep, where do we go” in his tiny bedroom of the house they grew up in...in which her & her parents still live in!!! There is so much more to their story but just wanted to point out that none of it was recorded in a studio. Great reaction - she’s amazing live but if you like creative videos, def check out “you should see me in a crown” (vertical version), “bury a friend” & “when the party’s over”! Also, everything is real - no CGI. 😳

This is her latest song and it is a different sound for her. Billie writes all her music with her brother and if you listen too more of her I think you'll find she is hard to categorize. Another thing about Billie her live performance are great, two worth checking out 'all the good girls go to hell - live on Howard Stern' and 'the end of the world - radio 1 piano sessions'

Billie and her brother Finneas are the only writers of her music, they are musical geniuses. She comes up with the video ideas and they are like watching art. She does her own stunts in her videos and some you will swear she is using CGI but she isn’t. She wants everything to look authentic.
