Prithvi sounds like an intelligent man, but I think that the primary motivation for his migration, which he isn't openly disclosing, is related to status. He mentions having worked at the same company for 15 years, indicating he may be moving on to a high-level managerial position in India with a substantial package and relocation bonus. He might have had similar opportunities in the United States, but the appeal of maintaining one's status is often stronger in India, where he can enjoy it to a greater extent than any western country. Good call, Prithvi.

    • @divesh85
      @divesh85 7 месяцев назад +4

Yes, he is so reticent about why he is moving. He has suggested that he is leading/starting his company operations in India - meaning he'll be the CEO and has an opportunity to create large company in India which he'll be heading. It obviously is a massive promotion for him, and it is not a personal decision. It is purely a career and economic decision, anyone in his place would make that choice.
Why is he so discreet? he sounds insincere and it suggests that he is making things up to suggest that he is moving so that his kids can be with grandparents! Would he have moved had he not had the promotion? Absolute not! He is moving not because he is compromising on career for family, he is moving because it's a massive step up for him in his career, if that was not the case then he would have never moved!

agree..isko sirf parents aur food yehi miss karta hoga yei.. parents to germany bhi akar mil sakte hai at the end girls bhi toh after marriage don’t live with their parents unke parents bhi toh old hotei hai so gals are strong mei toh ase bhi after marriage apni family se kbhi kbhi hi milna hai toh better hai meet both in laws and your own parents kbhi kbhi which is great bcz Indian men ko fayda hoga bhi khudke ghar and parents ke saath rehna but gals toh ase bhi dur toh better live abroad and live abroad with good package and even your kids can grow abroad think for future generations not only emotional of your parents .. you can bring parents abroad and can spend time just like how gals after marriage meet their family .

Well, living in Germany is his perosnal choice. We can n't argue with him. Many people take foreign citizenship like Mumbaiker Nikkhil daughter. It's a very smart decision. In my opinion , living in India is very hard if you do n't earn good amount money. But many people are living and they are happy. And second thing is if you can afford to go out and study there and can earn good amount money. Then you come to India with a good experince and good amount of money, you can get a good amount of package or you can start your own comapny. Then it's a great decision.

    • @abirbo

India does not stand apart from the rest of the world in digitization. China is way way way ahead of the world when it comes to digitization. These are facts which mainstream media will never ever tell you.

@@HIMANSHU79879 Haha, you are talking to someone who has lived and worked in China!! "no. of transcation and amount per transaction is way way high" - This data has been published by the Indian government and anybody with a little understanding and brain, knows it's an utter lie!
9/10 persons in China use digital payment. There are many shops all across China who cannot return changes because they just don't have cash. I had this experience. In Chinese trains (bullet or normal), it's rare to see someone paying in cash. As per 2022 statistics, 974 million people have smartphones in China compared to 659 million in India. As per 2023 data (till date), 943 million people used mobile payments in China.
Now, in a country which has more smartphone users than India, more digital payment users than in India, and where more than 87% of the people use digital payment, how India has a larger digital transactional volume and transactional amount?? If you understand maths, you can figure it out yourself. I have given you the figures.

My field is Industrial Automation Engineering (13 years exp.) & My wife as an English Teacher (15 years exp.).
We (couple) are going to apply for Sweden or Germany Job Seeker VISA. In India, due to heavy rush for VFS appointment booking for Germany Job seeker VISA. Could you suggest me properly, which country is better for us ? If we think about Sweden Job seeker visa then, what would be your suggestion ?
I will be waiting for your reply.
    Thanks

Just look at the greenery in the background.
No way India is going to have this green and pollution less environment.
And the govt level corruption is huge.
His child should have grown up in Germany and do his higher studies from there.
India is good when you retire after earning abroad. The taxpayers gets the worst deal in India.

Everything changes when Grandparents are not there any more.....whenever we expats want to go back to India...the one & only motivation is our Parents who r getting old! Once that umbilical cord is broken and one day u go back to your hometown or city and ur parents r no more and nobody else recognizes you. Even childhood friends all have moved on with their lives and basically u don't belong to anyone anymore.....that's the time the harsh reality bites and these same people will again think why not stay abroad in a place like Europe...atleast for the rest of my life and for my kids!
And this is the truth...ask anyone who has gone through this because I personally know a lot of people who actually lost their parents during Covid19.
God give long life to everyone's parents....wo log hai to sab kuch hai...nehi to kuch bhi nehi!🙏🙏

India is favorable for individuals who exert influence on bureaucracy and society at large, while also enjoying a substantial income. Prithvi possesses both these qualities, coming from a family of medical professionals and earning a more substantial salary (guess that's obvious with the skill-sets he is bringing on the table) than the average in India. However, for middle-class citizens in India, with lower influence, regardless of their religion and size of their paycheck, life in India can present significant challenges.
