As a typical Nigerian, we all have 3 personalities and 3 accents, and we activate them depending on where we find ourselves, that is why we blend very easily anyhwere we are.

Not wanting to share personal details does not make someone shy. He is here to promote his work and make connections that's why he did the interview. Simple enough.
Darryl is a very talented guy and doesn't even knows it. This is what makes him so funny and loveable. Way more funny than some of those comedian out there. I would love to see him in a comedy movie.

I can’t tell what accent he has here! I’m guessing his original accent is a little watered down from living in the US.
More like that's the normal educated urban young Nigerian accent. The thick accent he puts on in his videos is copied from an older generation of Igbo people, or from young Nigerians with a strong up-country Eastern (Igbo) accent. Most young urban Nigerians don't have strong regional accents.

Yes, his Nigerian accent is probably watered down by now - he’s certainly been in the US long enough for that to happen. He most likely also lived in an urban area prior to relocating and that’s why his accent isn’t heavier and/or thicker. That Vega last name though is definitely not Igbo.
This guy is hilarious to me. The first time I saw him was when he went to pick up his date and she refused to get in the car.

The 1st time I saw him was when he was working in Walmart in paint and the woman wanted something out of produce. I saw a follow up that he had gotten fired. I wrote a not so nice message out there to the lady thinking it was all real until I saw other stories out there with him in it and I was like wth?

As a Nigerian, I don't think he is expectionally funny because we see people like him everyday. I am only knew Nigerian was funny when people laugh at our normal conversation and use of words
