Just out of curiosity, I looked up the prices for suites at the Grand Californian.
1-Bedroom Suite -- starting at $983 /night
2-Bedroom Suite -- starting at $1226 /night
3-Bedroom Suite -- starting $1477 /night
Signature Suite (including El Capitan) -- "For availability and prices, please call..."
I don't even want to know how much, to be honest!!
I would only book those rooms if you are part of Disney Vacation club. Its much more worth it. My trip to Disneyworld in april will cost around 15k just for the room... My DVC membership was only 30,000 so if I go to disneyworld two more times in the next 60 years i will have saved money :D

I stayed in the Grand Californian (in a much smaller room!) and I absolutely loved it. Going down to the lobby and listening to the pianist playing Mary Poppins was perfection.

I KID YOU NOT! Like 7 years ago, when I still live in LA, I was like 6 and stayed in that exact suite over Halloween! My Nostalgia Levels Are Off The Charts!
Perhaps the phone in the bathroom is for that moment when you realize there is no paper in the paper tray, but your job is already loaded into queue -- if you know what I mean. One could call for more paper, via phone, instead of just yelling through the door in the hope that someone in the other room hears you.

Such an awesome room! Imagine how many fun pics you could take on that balcony! We had an amazing view last August when we went on our Honeymoon. The room was right above Goofy's sky coaster.

Thanks for all the videos, they help me with my Disney withdrawals. We haven't been to Disney since 2011 but before that we went 11 times in a 9 year span. Seeing as we live in Arkansas that's quite a drive for us.

I stayed at the Grand Californian last year and I would recommend it to everybody. It is absolutely amazing. It is so convenient as you get to walk into down town Disney and grand Californian. This saves time getting in and out of the parks extremely fast, and the most amazing part, is that hotel guests get access to the park 1hr before other guests. The scenery is absolutely is amazing, the lobby is breathtaking and extremely large with a beautiful chandelier and a fireplace. Not to mention the beautiful piano playing all classical Disney music almost 24/7! The food is amazing, and you walk outside right into the Story Tellers Cafe which is amazing because of the buffet food, and the meeting the characters experience, very fun for children, and any age. I loved the souvenir store as it has cute items and may save time from going to crowded stores located in the parks. The pool area is beautiful and has something for everybody, and a fun slide for children, while parents can watch with beautiful sights and pools. I loved every moment of it and I will be coming back soon!
You should have stayed and enjoyed the jacuzzi tub!!! I'll never be able to afford to stay in a suite, so thanks for showing us that one. Don't the rooms at the Grand Californian start at about $300+ ?
If you know how to work the system, you can get it for a "reasonable" amount. For example, DVC (Disney vacation club) points can be rented from members, and that can make it cheaper. There are a lot of ways to make things more affordable.

Nick Petersen I rent my DVC points all the time and people still save 30-40% compared to Disney rates. I make some money any people save money, win win.

Even though this hasn't happened at Disneyland it is still cool so here's my story:
Me and my family were staying at a resort because we were going to lego land. We got into our hotel room and to our surprise there was a wedding going on outside our room. My dad told the front desk and they took us to our new room. We walked around to the end where the suites are and we got a one and a half bathroom three bedroom suite with a full on kitchen dining room and living room we got it for the price of a normal hotel room
I love the lobby at Christmas time. Cocoa by the fireplace.

The Grand California is the best hotel in Disneyland, especially if you arrive in January. And Justin is scary.

That's so cool, decorated in Frank Lloyd Wright style, which you can see in the wood, stone, rug design, windows, and lamps. Very nice!
The El Capitan Suite, one of four themed "Signature Suites" (Mt Whitney, Arcadia and Arroyo are the others) in the Grand Californian, is the ultimate grand suite experience. You didn't see the whole suite, as other parts were probably booked separately. There are actually other bedrooms as part of the overall suite and it can sleep up to 12. Regular 3-bedroom suites are posted for $1477 per night. This one simply says "call for rates". But grab a group - for 12 the rates would likely be competitive per person - and enjoy the luxury on a vacation experience of a lifetime.

Bidets are more alone the line of a sink, you can use them after wiping to get more clean with out a shower, or sometimes, so I've read can be used fire other parts like feet
As a Timeshare owner of Disney, Hilton and Wyndham, this video is very nice to see ... I have 10 years if walk through footage of beautiful resorts including Hilton's Crane Resort in Barbados in a massive room with a personal 28 foot pool on the back porch, A 2-bedroom Presidential Condo at the Park City Utah Waldorf Astoria with 5 fire places and the Grand Villa at Disney's Grand Floridian with a view of Magic Kingdom right next door ... timeshare owners break even on accomodations in 5 high end trips or 12 average trips and get a lot of perks and discounts on Food, Fun and Transportation!

usually at disney hotels the combining rooms are usually for handicap if you need both rooms, only the handicap rooms have a conjoined room.

The best hotel room that I've stayed at on at any of the DisneyLand Hotels had been a Suit Room @ Paradise Peir on my B-Day, only because they messed up on the normal room we were meant to get. So me and my friend got to stay in a fancy room like that but at the other hotel.

Also by the look of it, the adjoining room was the only room used in that entire suite so Justin's buddy must be a personal assistant to someone quite important that booked the room and never ended up showing but it was paid for and his friend was there and didn't move forward with them. Lucky assistant or agent/entourage for sure.

Hands down, Grand California is my favorite of all the Disney Resorts. I love that fireplace.
I've seen a vlog from someone who was in club 33. There was also another large family, had a bunch a kids even, a birthday party and it was all on video and the staff didn't tell them to turn on the camera's.
