❤Whip chain❤ I'm a 1st degree black belt in American Tang soo do and whip chain was the weapon I used for my weapons form. Out of the whole school ive only seen two other people who have used a whip chain my instructor who taught me how to use it and a classmate who tested with me who used two whip chains
Urumi (The Whip Sword) is an honorable mention, trying to use one without injuring yourself is hella difficult, if you watch Demon Slayers and see Mitsuri in battle then you’ll know what the whip sword looks like
Great video! Here are some additional ones that I think would've been great: The Chinese hook sword(twin hooks, fu tao, hu tou gou), some of the movements that require locking and linking the hooks and swinging at the foe is said to be really difficult to master, and takes years of practice The Rope Dart, like the one used by Scorpion in MK, requires not only learning how to swing the ropes to precise angle, but also throwing the dart to the direction you want Fencing Sword demands good amount of focus and constantly maintain a good stance Hwacha from 15th Centry Korea was one of the earilest forms of multi rocket launchers. But it required loading up the rocket-arrows one by one, manually set up the fuse, and careful aiming. Aiming in particular was really difficult (as shown in that one mythbuster episode), not to mention the operators needed to find the perfect surface to launch the rockets from
1.any of the Fencing swords... although it look nerdy, it is an incredibly hard craft to learn that arguably... Puts Katanas to shame. 2. The tank, when used stupidly becomes a hindrance, when used effectively can be horrifying. 3. The horse, taking a animal as elegant as that into the sound of battle..... 4. The flame thrower, if anything is one of the most terrifying weapons an enemy can wield against you 5. The Pilot.
That an it's twin the Rope Dart is even worse since it's literally a spike or ACTUAL knife on the end of a fast moving speed. This list I all over... Swords n Hammers??? Nun chuks?? Really??? Those are INTRO weapons one learns on the way to being ready for weapons like flails an Rope an chain weapons I also thought
The 3 Sectional Staff is by far the hardest weapon to master. Its not even a discussion. I have seen people knock themselves out learning to use it. Its effectiveness as a weapon was used to combat and disarm Butterfly Sword Masters in Okinawa as well as Shaolin Monasteries. It is truly the most dangerous non blade or projectile based weapon in all of Martial Arts especially to the wielder. Takes great discipline, understanding of momentum and positioning to avoid knocking yourself out.
I'm sorry, but putting a warhammer above stuff like flexible weapons like nun-chuks and whips is stupid. It's a fucking hammer! It could only get simpler if you used a club! Granted, the longbow is certainly the hardest weapon to master, since the saying "If you want to train a longbowman, start with their grandfather" is hardly hyperbole.
I’m surprised the shuriken / throwing star didn’t make it on this list it’s a lot harder than a throw knife because they have a handle shurikens are blades all around
Halberd's might be the most well balanced melee weapon of mastered properly. It's been studied that between the Swords Vs Lances/Spears Vs Axes in Fire Emblem, it realistically should have weapon triangle advantage against all three of them. It has the long ranged thrust of a spear/lance that the sword struggles to counter, it has the chopping potential of an axe to split a spear's head off and/or latch underneath the head and twist to disarm it, and an even longer thrust than the sword but wider head that is also double sided means the axe can't really get around to chop or latch underneath like it could a spear. Though it is true in the medieval times, the best tactic to train military is to master horseback riding and longbow wielding at the same time. It's what the Mongolian Empire's military consisted of and what made them successful conquerors, until they got to Japan that also had military similar to that.
i remember i went to a renfair and i saw a warhammer, i wondered what the other parts whre for, a guy told me it was like you have an enemy pinned, he's wearing armor, and the spike parts are more for getting the parts between the armor, i called them Man-Openers
There is an old joke: How do you get a skilled longbow-man? Answer: Start by training his grandfather. It was a weapon that took skills passed down through generations to master.
MASTERING even relatively basic weapons like "basic" knives an staff type weapons is hard. BUT from what seen apparently the following.. Projectile based: long bows an sniper rifles (depending on which ones) With melee- any sorta Whip, or fighting chain, throwing weapons, an especially one's like Rope/Chain Darts an it's twin the Meteor Hammer and the 3-Section Staff seem to be the MOST difficult. Most of these on the list are fairly basic an seem, as usual, a matter of biased opinion then TRUE difficulty to become proficient in if not mentioned but some I did are on it
As a person who learned Tenshin Shoden(Katana usage) for three years yet won’t call myself a master, some of the lower entries here are easier to master

The three-section staff is difficult 😰
Obscenely difficult
As a practitioner of martial arts, archery, and firearms, I loved this list.💯
Surprised the three section staff didn't make it.
Urumi (The Whip Sword) is an honorable mention, trying to use one without injuring yourself is hella difficult, if you watch Demon Slayers and see Mitsuri in battle then you’ll know what the whip sword looks like
I really love traditional Indian weapons.
Ninja assassin does a good job in portraying that as well
Great video! Here are some additional ones that I think would've been great:

@@tomk2688master these nuts.
2:24 Boomerang, You Do Always Come Back!😂
Suprised sansetsukon (triple staff) didnt make the list.
What about the balisong butterfly knife... seriously I have trouble spinning it in between my fingertips while practicing.
3 sectional staff
1.any of the Fencing swords... although it look nerdy, it is an incredibly hard craft to learn that arguably... Puts Katanas to shame.
2. The tank, when used stupidly becomes a hindrance, when used effectively can be horrifying.
3. The horse, taking a animal as elegant as that into the sound of battle.....

“Practice makes the master.”

My favorite weapon is the katana
The lightsaber
I'll do you one better. Lightwhip.
The lightstaff.
No Hookswords or Sanjiegun?
Watchmojo rarely does their reaearch
The Meteor Hammer seems like an extremely difficult weapon to use. Gogo Yubari just made it look easy to use :)
That an it's twin the Rope Dart is even worse since it's literally a spike or ACTUAL knife on the end of a fast moving speed. This list I all over... Swords n Hammers??? Nun chuks?? Really??? How did the Three section staff and Meteor hammer not make this list?
I'm surprised the ball and chain didn't make the list

Some weapons missing on the list:
The Sling
3 Section Staff
Rope Dart
I'm sorry, but putting a warhammer above stuff like flexible weapons like nun-chuks and whips is stupid. It's a fucking hammer! It could only get simpler if you used a club!
Granted, the longbow is certainly the hardest weapon to master, since the saying "If you want to train a longbowman, start with their grandfather" is hardly hyperbole.
Thank you for mentioning this. I was thinking the same thing when I saw him rank a long hammer!
The tongue.
Good one there 😂
no weapon, but to sneak in the house drunk is ninja level stuff
Hey mojo do a video on where the beloved FRINGE cast is now since their final season wrapped up.
Nun-chucks are difficult. 🎉
🥈
Interesting, as a martial artist myself, I thought nun chucks were harder to master over the Kitana
Lightsabers got snubbed
three section staff, chain whip, and longsword should all be on this list.
Bruce Lee is a legend
I’m surprised the shuriken / throwing star didn’t make it on this list it’s a lot harder than a throw knife because they have a handle shurikens are blades all around
Katana and nun chuck.
Mongol Bow short but mighty from a horse.
How about the most difficult weapon of ALL to use,
"The Flying Guillotine"!!
Watch mojo: top ten celebrities that actually know hand to hand combat
The yoyo
Most people don't realize it was originally a very dangerous weapon, not anything like the ones mass sold in the 70's
Isn't the _manriki gusari_ a type of this?
@@JamesDavy2009 manrikigusari is different in that it's small weights with a chain between them.
My hands...
🤣
Might I suggest for a future video of the top 20 deadliest weapons in history
Surprised the Rope Dart didn't make the list. As hard as the bull whip must be to learn imagine having to wrap it around your body to strike with it.
Amazing video, very informative
Three-section staff and balisong is a difficult one
Fascinating 🤩🪃⚒🔪⚔🔫🏹🤔🧐
Kusarigama, Meteor Hammer, and Sansetsukon

Goodness....number 2 went by QUICK!
The top 10 easiest weapons to master would be my next video recommendation
Why kusarigama is not on this list?
If Conan can do the whip, it can't be that difficult. No wonder it was only #9 on the list lol
There is an old joke: How do you get a skilled longbow-man? Answer: Start by training his grandfather. It was a weapon that took skills passed down through generations to master.
I'm surprised that the twin tiger hooks didn't make the list
We need a top ten list of difficult martial arts to master.
To master difficult deadly weapons is have faith in yourself so you can master those weapons
Katanas are difficult to use is because it is very delicate - you can't shop with it, because it will shatter. Every strike has to be a slice.
Pistols are hard to master too
I would say mastering nunchucks are the most difficult at least #3 on the list
How about bolo machete?

Longbow archers medieval times skeletons have been found with curved forearms from hours of practice. Stuck in my head from 60's National Geographic.
Where’s the shillelagh, the throwing axe, or even the regular combat knife?
The katana isn't any more difficult than most swords of its size.
Replace it with the kusari-gama; good luck mastering that weapon.
How about the Rope Dart or the Johyo. That's difficult.
What I got from this video...spatial awareness
Also...#1 should've been "your mind" ...yeeeeah
Only thing I mastered was bate
🐂: Whip ⛓️ Most KF! ☯️
Arnis eskrima kali sticks
Oh come on! The boomerang should've been higher than that, how do you even aim with that thing?
Weapon difficult to master: tongue and words
Light Saber is the most difficult to learn, first you have to learn the Force. Secondly....................
And the shepherd sling
#1 should be the chain whip.
You guys forgot the Chinese ropedart
Simple to use? Maybe. Easier to wield? Hardly. Extremely difficult to master? TOTALLY!!!!!!!
Oh damn, I know Jake Mace personally. It's been years and I'm sure he wouldn't remember me.
Bruh, I'm surprised that the spear chain isn't on the list!
At Air Cadets, your body can hurt if you stay at a certain position for a long time when learning how to use a rifle.
Nun chuck are technically illegal
A sling. That is a weapon that is deadly as hell and one that I think might kill the user, like myself. Lol.
Firearm then sword
Any bow could fit here....And you need strength a lot!
Nothing about the Urumi ???
Last long bow that was used in war was in ww2
How can you not include the Indian sword urumi. It's one of the toughest weapons to master
spitballs are op
What is tricky to master is how to tame the ladies 😉
Ngl im surprised butterfly knives didn’t make it
Jack of All Trades, Master of None.
Is still better than a master of one
Please use the full saying
Tbh any type of bow is near impoosible to master
sniper rifles are complex weapons, but sniper players are bullies
As a person who learned Tenshin Shoden(Katana usage) for three years yet won’t call myself a master, some of the lower entries here are easier to master
#1 should have been between money, Power, or knowledge
Chain whip
The Boomerang isn't that hard to master. It just takes time, precision, and time.
Also, how come the Bo Staff isn't on this list?
Chinese rope dart
I guess twinned hook swords are easy…?
The mind.❤
