john wick talks about animal crossing for two hours

  • @darrenm.7980

Intro implies yakuza fans wouldn't like an animal crossing mini game, yet what he doesn't know is that we sat through an entire required idol star simulator in Yakuza 5 and enjoyed it

As a huge fan of both Yakuza and AC this game mode was amazing. As an added note, in the main game you can buy some DIYs from different stores. You can also recruit people standing around to be visitors (and even people from the main story). Also Gachapin and Mukku are actually real mascots from a Japanese TV show. Gachapin even has a vocaloid made from him called Gachapoid, so that's interesting. (Considering Sega makes Yakuza and Hatsune Miku herself has shown up in these games, we can say that Yakuza and Vocaloid lore are connected 😂.) Plus, aside from the AC and Pokemon modes, 7 had a Mario Kart mode too. Someone at RGG Studios really loves Nintendo.

I love the part where your saved by a kind Samaritan, then the dude passed out and the most logical thing to do is to kidnap your savior and transport him to a remote abandoned island to recover. Amazing game.

  • @Composercleo

Thank you I didn’t know this existed

  • @Bringsbane

The ways this brought me joy... Thank you for giving Infinite Wealth a try!

  • @thread6971

you know its a good game when you can hop in on the eighth entry knowing basically nothing about the series and still have a hell of a good time (like i'm doing rn)

  • @kflemonice

You left out the part that the special move they give you at the end of the minigame as a thank you gift is a SATELLITE LASER that they've been developing in secret, and it's an ultimate skill that nukes every enemy on the field.

  • @EeveeFromAlmia

Ahaha those mascots are legit kids characters the 70’s, it would be exactly as if Gumbo or Garfield was here. Also the green one has a Vocaloid.

  • @heyitsmija

girl who would ever not want to play yakuza

  • @dullsunrise8820

As both an Animal Crossing fan and a Yakuza fan I love seeing how they merged. Plus hearing about Animal Crossing fans experiencing Dondoko Island and the first few chapters of IW is pretty funny to me. You come for the goofy stuff, stay for the heartbreak. Or just only play Dondoko Island for like 15+ hours straight. I may or may not have done that.

Just going to point out and clarify some stuff concerning this mode:

Sure you don’t have to now but you absolutely should! This whole game is one of the best jrpgs ever made!

  • @BackpackComics

Actually insane that this was included in the game. Tbh looks like a lot of fun. As someone who enjoys the Yakuza series, would love to try it out. Great video :)

  • @Flutterdark_

also worth mentioning is that throughout the entire mode you earn money for the main game.

  • @Julietmateus

The one thing I’m surprised you didn’t mention is how after you clear an area the total loot you could have obtained spawns at the store daily. It’s so nice to not feel like I’m being punished for cleaning out the areas.

  • @PokeHeadroom

theres also a secret state of being when you keep tweaking your house constantly, when your little ichiban sprite icon is partying because he got a new item for his house he get double rewards for every piece of trash he destroys
