He probably miss spoke when he said affordable. Most likely ment pricing it in a way that would make since to manufacture and sell, and will be in a pricing bracket that's suitable for a market. Doesn't mean it's affordable
Great job on the video folks! Thanks for making it. I love a 60% delete. I built a system out of wood for the back of my 4Runner, and originally it was a full flat system that covered both the folded down back seats, but then I realized I almost never need that much flat space so in a subsequent version I just covered the 60 portion.
Hey there, I have been watching you guys for a while now and I loved every single video you guys make! lately I have been traveling around making my Photography dream come true, without you guys I would have not had the motivation to get out in the world and explore, I want to thank all of the Expedition Overland crew for amazing videos and getting me out and chasing my dreams! very insperational, all of you!
Found this channel like a month ago and have been binge watching. Excellent content. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the Africa expedition.
From that satellite guy, Jesus is alive and in Israel. Ive been deciding and working through having this satellite. But just know y'all are like the 7th people I have physically told. Love what you are doing. I wish I had the courage.
Great built! The new Sequoia is much better looking than the gen 2, but Toyota really dropped the ball on the 3rd row/ cargo area. I understand the issue with the battery, but it's a dealbreaker for those of us with multiple kids. Hopefully Toyota does a better job with the coming US market Land Cruiser.
IMO, it was a failure of Toyota not making the new Sequoia's seats fold flat like the previous generation. I realize the battery is in the way, however, Toyota engineers should have come up with a meaningful solution to this problem. We fold the seats in our 2nd Gen Sequoia all the time. Not sure I could live without that option on a daily basis. The 3rd Gen Sequoia has lost some of its versatility as a result of this. Toyota also should have incorporated more high strength 4943 aluminum in the construction, to include the chassis. At least they brought back the solid rear axle!!
I think the real problem is the clumsy battery location. I don't think there was time/money to take the Tundra battery and massage it to fit into the SUV body better, like above the spare or into the side panels. Hopefully a mid-cycle refresh will improve this.
Bi fan of you guys from India I wanna make the similar kinda content here as well but I'm not that strong financially but someday I'm sure you'll find me and I'll get appreciation from you for sure
Funny to hear goose gear talk about affordability when they’re the premium brand on the market 😂

And high dollar.
Not affordable at all
I cant wait for you guys to come to Cape town South Africa. Epic Channel

I love the graphic on that truck. Subtle, yet effective
Excited to see how the build progresses. I love the looks of the new Sequoia.
"Los Angelos" !!! 😜

I´ll recommend the South America Serie....is just awesome!
@@OverlanderVenezuela Have already watched all their expeditions. The Pan American highway was awesome.
Welcome! Thank you for joining us!
I've been following this build since it started. I'm excited to see the progress on it.
Love my Goose Gear Park Series for my Subaru Outback Wilderness
Looks marvelous...
I have been wondering about the Sequoia update. Any detail on seat removal and the hybrid battery protective cover you can share?
Awesome episode!!
Is that the Africa expedition flag at 1:23!? 😮
That is the Nordic flag, but the Africa flag is here 😏

Tbh the one rig I'm surprised isn't in the XO fleet is an 80 series on 37s+ for the real fun tough stuff.
That's cause they get free new Toyota's
I would love to bring my vehicle for u guys to outfit it
When will goose release this?
The SEMA show may be very cool and I would love to go; however, as a “regular normy” I cannot. ☹️☹️
Still having a hard time seeing this vehicle as an overlanding platform. Defiantly not the best choice for expeditions, but time will tell
Hey guys! How much weight has the Allu Cab roof tent? Impecable job from Goose Gear, thanks for sharing! Regards! Nos vemos en la via!
Hey there! 76kg for the 3.R.
@@ExpeditionOverland Thanks!

And that battery pack don't add much to the powertrain, what a waste of hybrid system.
If they just kept the normal twin turbo it wouldnt have been a problem

Why does such a large SUV feel so unsatisfying in providing real usable space?

@@guentherwilke2055it took them 15 years to update the sequoia. I wouldn’t hold my breath for a mod to the battery.
