- Once a year the 10 Million Red Crabs of Christmas island march towards the coast .The conclusion of this migration is the release of 10,000 eggs by each female.The females carefully enters the water of the rock or beach and release their eggs with a movement now called a 'shimmy ' .This videos focus is on this under water shimmy dance.Note ... This particular species is not edible

Rick C-137 the reason why is because there is barely any meat in this crab, it’s mostly water.
Which therefore makes the species inedible to people, but edible to some native and also invasive species.
The crab at the end really said "WEEEEEEEEEEE IM DONEEEEE"
