Don't worry folks! If we run out of "short runway"....we can always extend our takeoff roll into the Concord Mills Mall parking lot.
LOL
I go to Concord Regional every month and amazing that Allegiant Air actually goes to Concord, NC. I hope this airport expands fast. :D
as the Orginial Ramp crew since November 2014, Jack is on the left wing and Caleb is on the Right wing. walking inside Ms. Hogan on your left and Ms. Lissa is on your right. don't forget sandy who was at the stairs in the beginning. the woman walking baggage area behind the counter is ms.Patty who was an Ex us.airways ticket counter. This is my crew and this is my family xD
Man that terminal is bare bones.
Allegiant typically flies into smaller airports because it is cheaper. Big airports, depending on the size of the plane, can cost up to $12000 to land. Smaller airports cost much less and not using a gateway costs even less. These budget airlines also run 1 or two different kinds of planes and have more direct flights. These all cut down on the costs. Believe it or not they make more money than big airlines
I have never been to the airport at Concord before. Thanks for the video. It looks like a very fancy place.
Thank You For Your Video. We are flying down to Sanford on Allegiant in a couple of weeks and didn't know what to expect.
Love the footage from the road to the airport!
CraZy291 i was just thinking that. it's a beautiful country.
Great view of Charlotte Motor Speedway. Awesome CFM growl!
I flew for the first time 4 months after this video was made it was with allegiant. it was a great experience for a person with a fear of heights
I flew Allegiant from Bellingham, WA home to Maui, Hawaii back in 2016 on a 737. Been making that flight since the 80s, but that flight was one of the smoothest best flights I can remember.....and it was on a 737.
I'm like, "Wait...where's Concord? And how do they have jet airline service?"
So it's basically Charlotte for those of you that didn't know. And that building is a pretty loose term for a "terminal". lol.
Smrtr ThanYou charlotte not
its a warehouse
It's actually a regional airport near Charlotte Motor Speedway with actual Charlotte / Douglas International being about 15+ miles away.
It would be about the same as Love Field vs Dallas / Ft. Worth International.
Concord isn’t Charlotte. It’s about 30 minutes away from Charlotte Douglas
Love it, man! It's always great to see a notification that you've uploaded another masterpiece.
RyanBomar Thanks Ryan - I have really enjoyed your 787 videos !
+SDMullis I love your vids, I have tonnes of flight video at home, never thought about uploading like you.
+ACTAN0NVERBA ofc, mine is most from onboard, with dinnerservice and the likes, not so much as you with the whole shebang.
This is amazing.
WOW! Really surprised at the small size of the airport, but not knocking it. Serving the small regional airports is something Allegiant does very well. I have flown from Fort Wayne International (KWFA) and Indianapolis International (KIND) to Sanford and back many times. I much prefer flying in and out of Sanford when in the Orlando area due to it's smaller size... and you aren't forced to drive a toll road in and out like you are with Orlando International (UGH!).
I'm considering this exact flight! I fly from Charlotte to NYC (Either JFK or LGA) every few months, and love CLT. My company owns a resort in Daytona Beach, FL which we get to use for free, and this flight from Concord to Sanford is only $72 round trip..half of what I'd pay to fly from Charlotte..so it'd make for an easy and cheap vacation.
Nice! Flying PIE-CHA on the A320 soon. Same seat too!
10 minutes from Charlotte. Flew this past week. Good inexpensive flight.
The airport is practical, it does the job!
Very nice video! :)
awesome video...
Clt: Exists
Allegiant: we don’t do that here
Great flight that was. Thank you for sharing. :-)
Fernando Permana Thanks !
Your welcome... :-)
Another comment about the talkative passengers....my last flight I had to hear 3 hour conversation about computer programming....great video by the way, maybe I'll give Allegiant a chance.
Awesome!
What kind of low budget airport is this?
The Airline is Allegiant.
Just flew on this same plane, according to the tail number, just the other day in one seat up, 4a. We made an emergency landing due to a door still being open, ended up just being a faulty light.
Great video. Concord airport look like hanger and just one airline at the Concord.
I did not know that you a youtuber
Thanks for the upload! I was excited to see this video from JQF. I've always wanted to takeoff from there. I haven't been by the airport since Alliegant started there. So thanks for the views of the terminal.
I'm curious, it seemed that after TO that the plane leveled off for a bit around 5,000. I wonder if that's due to having to separate from inbound traffic to CLT on 23 since that approach normally brings you right south of JQF?
Hope you got the landing at JQF. Cheers!
Mark Rowsey Thanks Mark ! I really enjoyed the stress-free Concord experience. Not sure why we leveled off for a few minutes but I agree with you, it was most likely to avoid CLT traffic. Long story, but we drove home from Florida so unfortunately there will not be a video of a return flight to Concord. Sorry about that.
Good video!
That must be a very big plane to visit that airport. Very rarely, a 737 will visit our local airport, and the terminal gates are not big enough to handle it.
At least it has an actual terminal!
The RUclips user "Paul Metcalfe" has stolen this video and put it up on his channel. Not sure if you already knew this. Figured I'd let you know.
very nice...never heard Concord Airport before!
Is it JQF?
Nice video. Would have been nice to see the inside of the plane. How do you get from Sanford to Disney property?
I went on allegiant to LA yesterday
Cool! How did you swing being able to be out on or near the tarmac to watch the plane land? I have never flown or used Allegiant Airlines, so it seemed like they have a whole different setup as far as their terminal buildings. I also noticed you didn't go through a jetwalk to board the plane. Unless I am wrong, there seems to be something quite different about this airline for some reason. Nevertheless, this is an awesome video. I love the part of the takeoff when you went over the interstate or highway.
The difference isn't the airline, it's this specific airport. Very unique!
I’m going on a flight from concord to ft Lauderdale on Thursday. That terminal was when they were building the new terminal. The new one is small but nice. That old one was like a hanger.
ok boomer
@@laurencamps2747 I've reported you for bullying
High Flyin ok boomer
no
Lauren Camps I hope your plane gets delayed.
i just flew to vegas from stockton ca the flight was very short 1hr 15 min it was really cramped and the seats are very hard the cost is great and the accomidations sucks they need a triple 7's the plane is too damn small i'll stay with southwest for now on i'll pay a lil bit more to be able to fly in comfort
Do They have Gift Shops at Concord Airport?????
I flew The N223NV from Syracuse to Fort Lauderdale
Never seen an airport like that. That is so weird
i'm flying Jetblue tomorrow morning, ever flown on them?
I always fly on jetblue,it's my favorite!!
Great video but, the airport terminal check-in for Allegiant doesn't look right. Well I got to admit, Concord Regional Airport isn't really a common airport for other airliners, and I'm suprised it's even big enough for bigger planes like A320, A319, MD-80, etc,.
Actually in countries that don't have as many big airport like we do here in the US, bigger planes landing at small airports like that, is not an uncommon sight to see
Nice video! People say that Allegiant Air is shit, but with my experience for flying every year for the past 8 years, it isn't bad. It really depends what airport you're talking about, one may have good airplanes, another may have shitty. Just a proof of concept.
Made about 20+ flights from South Bend to Punta Gorda and backin last 3 yrs and have no complaints.Last 2 flights have been on A320s that were new aircraft. Downside is they don't fly to major hubs. I pick my dates ahead and the ticket prices are great.
WARNING-NOISE POLLUTION, VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK, OR TURN SOUND OFF.
That does not sound like a healthy engine xD Great video!
19ngray immature much?
great place to work I would love to work for an airlines that stop at the now well know airport
Nice video! That "airport" in Concord made me laugh! Only Allegiant!
***** dude, don't be an elitist airline snob. granted, the allegiant facilities at this charlotte area airport are pretty basic, but there seemed to be plenty of folks who couldn't care less. if allegiant can make a profit by operating in and out of airports like concord, then more power to 'em!
I wasn't trying to be a "snob." I love Allegiant for trying to bring service to lower-served airports. More power to them. It's just the terminal looks like a hanger.
+AirplaneNewsToday "lower-served areas?" Concord, NC isn't a lower-served area. The main airport in Charlotte is less than 20 miles away. When I first saw this video...I thought the flight might have been a charter, it wasn't. I know exactly where this airport is, having lived in the Charlotte area in the past. Its right near the Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Concord Mills Mall. My question is....where is the TSA security checkpoint for this flight? I didn't see anything, other than an open hangar door and cheesy constructed ticket counter.
+Loren J. There's a fully operational TSA checkpoint with 1 line, a normal walk-thru metal detector, and a baggage X-ray machine. Actually at that airport, they're more strict on what you have to put in separate bins. I had to take out my ps4.
+Loren J. And btw he said "lower served airports" not lower served areas.
Noisy travelers and loud PAs
Lol concert regional looks like a used to be AAU basketball gym
I live in Concord NC
Hi One Of My Houses Are In Kannapolis Near The Concord Airport & I Fly Out From The Concord Private Airport On My Private Jet When I'm Going To Nyc For Our Thursday Morning Music Company Meetings,But However Me & My Wife Flew Allegiant From Concord To Ft Lauderdale On Sept 3rd 2019 & It Was Nice,It Is Always Thousands Of Dollars Cheaper Fly Allegiant Than Me Paying For Private Jet Fuel.
I can't believe Airbus isn't selling bleachers as seats!
Hi I live in concord
That was 12 minutes of my life I can't get back
How long was this flight? It takes about 2 hours to fly from Toledo, OH to St. Petersburg, FL on Allegiant Airlines
I gats a319 not a320neo.
Wow! Look at that terminal! You couldn't pay me money to fly Allegiant!
Chris Kuchnicki can't do anything when its a small regional airport... Most allegiant airports are medium to international airports
chris kuchnick ,we fly Allegiant about 6 or 7 times a yr,South Bend to Punta Gorda. So glad we won't see you on any of the flights!
It's definitely not like the terminals most people think of Chris, but if I lived close to a terminal like that and they were going to a place I'd want to go, I'd gladly fly Allegiant! It beats driving to and parking at a big city airport
C. K. Lol 😭😭😂😂
Nice Vid but the airport was disgusting 😂
That is one ghetto airport man
I thought my airport was small

Here's my critique of Alegiant: Flght attendant spoke way too fast like he was in a hurry to get home... the landing announcement was too fast....Sorry,,,, but Allegiant is the worst airline ever!! I call it CATTLE CAR EXPRESS.. bad flight attendants, bad pilots, nasty ticket agents, refuse to fly Allegiant.....
Rob and Rick- Chudej-Martin you should try Spirit
1911Fan Spirit Sucks
Is Spirit worse than Allegiant?
