This is my most anticipated game for the year. And I’m even more excited now! Cannot wait to get my hands on it - love PWH and I love Devin. Match made in heaven.
You actually got me excited for that game. I think I will at least try it. I know - heresy - but I haven't been the biggest Phil Walker-Harding fan even though I do love Bärenpark. Thanks for this video! ❤
We think the level of play is similar to Barenpark, even though it provides a different puzzle. Certainly more of a synergising goals element to the game. We'd say it's worth you trying it out, as you can tell we have really enjoyed it. But would be interested to hear your thoughts when you get a chance to play. Life would be boring if we all liked exactly the same things 😀
It's quick and easy to table, so we expect that we will play it quite a bit. There has even been talk of playing Barcelona whilst we are on our Spain holiday with the girls later this summer
We're getting this to the table tonight ahead of our building out the Top 10 list for February (for 2024 published games). Great look at the game - we're excited. Aiming for a 3-4 player game with our first play.
Hope you enjoy it! Glad you enjoyed the video, we will be interested to see what makes it to your list in Feb 😀 It snuck it's way onto Julian's Top 10 - we did ours very recently, although I am sure we will discover more gems from the year eventually
@BoxedMeeples I'll definitely check it out in a bit. We drop ours in February because it gives us a little bit more time to get more games in. I myself have played about 90 games published in 2024 right now. - CB
Not a bad shout, we just received Lord of the Rings Duel for Xmas and hadn’t played enough at Essen to include it - so it will be interesting to see where that and a few others we are yet to table land
Honestly, Cities hadn't really been on my radar. It is now. It sounds like a lot of fun. I love the tension of a difficult choice where you REALLY want multiple things, but you can't have them all. Quick question- is it possible for 2 players to be working on different cities in the same game, or does it have to be all players working on their own version of the same city?
No. Even at 2, you would need to be in the same city, as otherwise the city objectives would not be a race. Imagine it like you're designing competing neighborhoods in the one city. So glad we raised your attention to the game, it's such a gem

It's such a great game, really is one of those simple to learn hard to master situations!

Can't wait for our copy!Looks so fun
We have really been enjoying it and so easy to table. When does it hit your shores, do you know? X
I've been looking forward to this one and like what I'm hearing so far!
