Beautiful video, all true. Just little correction: people don't make 300 - 400 € here long ago. The minimal salary is 840€ (960 € confirmed from 1st of Jan, 2024) but only low quality job pay minimal wage and just 9% of population work for minimal (according statistics 2023). Average salary is 2000 € (minus taxes). But if you a doctor, manager, IT, engineer, qualified worker or an owner of business you get 3 k +. I mean pay is definitely lower than in Western Europe but not as low as you mentioned. The rest you mentioned is correct. Thank you, Mark - love your channel! ❤

She does youtube and when I first heard her voice, I could detect an accent, but I couldn't figure out what kind it was. I soon got the answer. Lol, she's currently living in England with her boyfriend (they've been together for 10 years now), but she will occasionally go back to Lithuania to visit family, especially during the summer. She says one thing she misses about her home country is the food and she loves a type of cake that can only be found there. It's a honey cake. Sounds so good. Very sweet person and so soft spoken too.
Yes the honey cake is legendary especially if it is made by grandma.
@@kodilodinoza Nice! Lol, the best foods are always homemade (especially if they are done by grandparents). My grandma made the best jam.
This must have been filmed a while ago. Good video!!
Organic food?

Even minimum salary is 840 EUR.. what 300-400 EUR you talking about? :) Of course prices are still high tho.. but it isint as bad as you described :)
Average wages (Gross) (March 2023):

300-400 Eur per month is not accurate. Lithuania, located in the Baltic region of Europe, has an average salary of 20,003 EUR per year. This amounts to about USD 22,104 per year, according to the exchange rates in April 2023.
Well, they beat you in basketball this summer, dude...
I was there in 2004 when LT beat US in the olympics. And then when the US beat LT for the bronze.
Pavydziu,. White envy
I wish i had wolters relaxed nature about traveling!
I get all nervous with stuff- language and culture barriers etc etc 😣
Good video but you're way off with the salaries, the minimum wage in Lithuania is double of what you said, it is not Ukraine or Tajikistan my guy.
Another great video - well done.
