It seems like ages ago now when I wrote to Jeffrey about the situation in my region. It's been bad, still is but we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. His music (and Kris Delmhort's) was a comfort throughout the whole period. Thanks also to Signature Sounds for the good music.
I missed the stream last night so I thought I would revisit this...so glad that I did. I feel the need to tell the universe - your playing is impeccable the sound that you get out of your guitars oh my, the sustain of that not so well behaved Martin... And you voice is smoother than Laguavulin 16, enough said. Thanks for sharing your gifts.
No offense to the musicians you enjoy touring with - or John Prine’s ghost for that matter - but your stripped down solo work is simply in a different universe from anybody else. I hear the inner truth in your self-deprecation. People who appreciate true masters of this craft appreciate you, and your place among the greats will be cemented in the end.
