Youre doing a great job orion and its nice that family are helping too take a break from it and when you feel a lot less stress then come back to it but when youre ready take care
Orion i am so happy for you i like how you can turn your hand to anything just enjoy this time because when the baby comes along you might get more sleep
From experience, if you have a month, it would be easier to do the kitchen before you move in. Once you are in, it makes it nearly impossible to do anything in the kitchen because you always need to start late because of breakfast and finish early because you need to put the kitchen back together for dinner. It took me 2 years to get our kitchen done, as I decided to do it last.
Hi Orion. Awesome video as always! I fully appreciate the stresses of doing the renovation yourself... just finished fully renovating my house over the last couple years whilst working full time and studying to become an accountant after hours. I know it can be really overwhelming - maybe think/agree what the bare minimum level of readiness is and focus on that. It might help to relieve some of the stresses of trying to juggle the whole project! Anyway, it's looking great! It's actually closer to being done than you think, I reckon!
Thank you! Congratulations, I think there is a degree of you’re never actually finished renovating a house but as long as we get it liveable, I’m happy!
Another great vlog!!! I know you’re stressing about getting it done what with the baby on the way, but trust in your planning and know that it will get done one way or another. Enjoy the process. ❤️ x
Thank you! I’m currently at the point of just believing it will all be okay and trying not to stress too much! I actually put in a lot of time off camera to get it to this point and think it’s closer to being done than we realise!
Im loving your vlogs Orion dont beat yourself up about it being all over the place its perfectly fine the way it is. Glad your taking on board all our advice and having a break also lovely to see that your mam and mark are helping you too. Take care. X
No pva before you put the plaster or base on means it'll most likely not adhere properly🙈 but look as long as it works and you're happy then it's irrelevant, take care of yourself orion and thanks for the vlog 👌
We brushed a PVA Water mix in ever chase, I just don’t show me doing it lol, if you look back at the ones already done on the bedroom you can see the shine on the wall where my mum absolutely leathered it 🤣 thanks
Thank you! It’s not actually, it’s a neighbouring farm down the road & the landowner just wants to knock it down along with some other farm houses nearby. Dont actually know why but hoping we can make it too pretty to destroy!
I know you mentioned your plans a few videos back but how long are you planning on being in this place? Given it's ultimately going to be demolished you are doing an incredibly tidy job. I know I would struggle to be enthusiast about that.
We’re here for a minimum of 2.5 years, maybe longer & we decided to do a decent job of it in hopes that it becomes too pretty to knock down. Plus it’s an opportunity to learn, make content & feel homely for the 2-3 years we are here :)
@@OrionWhittle always take an opportunity to learn, and 2-3 years would be a bit long to be staring at poorly installed fixtures and fittings or trunking running up walls, so would say it was the right call.. in the end still going to be a lot of work that I am glad you are doing and not me :D
I'm confused why are you trying to get the electrics signed off if you're the only person that's going to live there and eventually the house will be knocked down.

Enjoy your rest. You deserve it
Thank you!
You have done a lot of good work 👍🏻
Now to take some time for you
Thank you, I will!
You are doing well , as you say you must take time to look after yourself or it will all get to much.
Thank you, I’ll be sure to take breaks!
I know it’s a lot of work and stressful but you do a good job. Plus, no more stairs to get into your new home.
It’ll be worth it in the end for sure!
As a plaster this was pain full too watch haha, but well done maybe not done by the book so to speak, but it works and looks good!
Haha please teach me! So hopeless & finding guides to doing it is harder than the other diy stuff lol
Sent you a message on Instagram 😂
The wiring is looking good, annoying it can’t be done in some places. The plastering also looks really nice, did a pretty good job
Ah it’ll be fine! I’m really hoping the plaster turns out well!

Thank you! I try not to but the way I’m wired I like things to be done a certain way and just trying to take it as a learning curve instead! :)
@OrionWhittle you will get there I have faith in you. X

You are doing an amazing job, want wait for the end result 😊 is this house on your mam and step dads land? And how come it’s getting demolished x
Thank you! It’s not actually, it’s a neighbouring farm down the road & the landowner just wants to knock it down along with some other farm houses nearby. Dont actually know why but hoping we can make it too pretty to destroy!

How come the house is being demolished?
The land owner doesn’t want it there basically lol
I'm confused why are you trying to get the electrics signed off if you're the only person that's going to live there and eventually the house will be knocked down.
Because he wants to make sure it’s safe to use ect plus if it’s not certified and he has a electrical fire the insurance won’t pay out
