@@whitewolf1028i still have the 970 too. Im thinking of building a new system and begrudingly may be paying 500-700 for a new gpu. No way would I purchase a 4090 unless I was rich and money was no object. $2000 for a gpu is absolutely insane to me.

Hi Muhammad, very nice. You might have problems with CPU Performance in some games, since the 3770 has its age but overall, I believe you can still play some nice games. Thanks a lot for your comment bro.
Hi mate, thanks for your feedback, could you tell me which game I've used a bad graphic preset? My main goal here was performance, when possible, I tried to keep it above 60fps but when not possible, I've tried my best to keep the FPS above 40s avoiding Low graphics. And what do you mean my bad O.S? When I uploaded this video, Windows 11 was not ideal yet, and older Windows doesn't have compatibilities in all games, It is quite important to have Windows updated for the best stability and compatibility in new games
@@GeraltBenchmarks Hey, I'm running a 970 with an i7-4th, but i get lesser frames than you on certain games like Hogwarts Legacy and Cyberpunk. That being said, my temps are always upwards of 71. Do you have any tips on how to fix this? Thank you, and love the video!
@@hassaanmajid3331 Hi Hassan, thanks a lot for your comment. I would say the problem is the CPU, both of these games are quite CPU heavy and benefits from newer CPUs, Cyberpunk can be quite CPU bound when driving around the city, Hogwarts Legacy is another CPU bound, it also needs more than 16GB RAM to perform better. Thanks a lot for your comment and feedback hassan
Teste cyberpunk novamente, tenho uma 970 e estou jogando a 40-50 fps o game agora depois do update, grafico no low com algumas coisas no alto e fsr em qualidade, game ta perfeito
@@dantezimbardo1471 Yes but the GTX970 was pretty good at the time, i still have it on my old PC it cover in dust sadly i can't see great performance out of this card even at native 1080p, for me i don't play 1080p anymore i usually play at 4K and less titles in 8K
Being fair, I haven't watched the video yet. I just wanted to comment right off that realistically, there isn't a right minded individual out there that is going to build a system with a 5800X while still keeping their old 970 around for gaming. It basically skews the results to worthless behind the old bottleneck excuse. On the realistic side, I just attempted to build a sub $400 PC with as much 'new part' as possible and could have gotten close with different choices, less funtionality, and a 6600 or similar. With the help of MicroCenter I was able to build under $350 a system based in a 3600, A520 mobo with great upgrade path, and which plays games at 720 at a very respectable frame rate. This video is so far from relevant to that as to be almost laughable. I will edit if I feel differently at the end of viewing.
This channel isn't about testing CPU and GPUs, only GPUs. I use the 5800x for all the GPUs because it is enough to take all my GPUs to 100%, similar to others GPU focused channels such as Karan and zWORMz, if you got a Ryzen 5 3600 (even a 2600) for the 970, the performance would be the same as this video, 970 doesn't need a too powerful CPU to get to 100%. Edit: Get yourself a 1080p monitor to your 6600, it is a excellent GPU for 1080p
In that case, my apologies. I took this to mean it was encouragement to consider building out such a system. In the above case I was updating a 4th gen i5 system with a 970. Pricing and common sense choices led to reusing the 970 as the only major hardware from the build before. I suppose with that in mind and my recent search history concerning the subject led to me projecting a bit.
I'm planning to buy the 5700x to upgrade my cpu, but I'll still have my 970 for a while before I can update it. The video still is very useful + it shows what a 970 at 1000% can do.
I am going to build a system for my sister with leftover parts from my current build, and it features a 970. Only things I will carry over is probably the GPU, PSU and maybe CPU cooler

Really good showing from 970
Good performance from a decade old gpu
Crazy current igpu like Radeon 780M comes close to this performance with only 60-80w tdp
I HAD 2X SLI YEARS AGO I WAS SO PLEASED...
TODAY I LOVE MY GTX 1080TI
& RTX 3060 12G
JUST LOVE THEM.
BUT STILL HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART
Soon i will get my first pc which is gtx 970 4gb pair with i7-3770.after watching your videos honestly i can't wait!!

Nice video
probably terrible graphic settings and bad O.S , you can do a lot better with that gpu... you are spreading disinformation.

Seeing this gave me hope to get the coming MH Wilds for my 970? Anyone who had the same feels?

What's FSR Mode? How can u use this mode on GTX 970?
I haven’t played on my pc in a while but mine is still going strong with older titles after almost 10 yrs
i7 4th gen gtx 970 is it good with 16gb ram
if you looking for efficiency, i would rather go with i3 10th gen instead
You Play RDR2?
what drivers were used here?
Ainda queima uma lenha
Es normal que llegue a esas temperaturas?
Yes, this model has a blower fan, it gets hotter and it is normal.
RiP GTX970 always under 60fps even at 1080p :(
this is not true, this is a fast video without tests, he just activate the fsr and press play.
