Most people forget that in the early game, when you don't have much fuel, you can make campfires which will give you an infinite source of cooking time for your food. Just don't forget to collect your food once its cooked or it will eventually de-spawn. Once you have enough iron for a hopper, you can put a hopper underneath the campfire, faceing into a chest, and your cooked food will be put away safely in your chest and won't de-spawn 😊
Thx!!!
Yeah bro I also do it
Omg I didn't know the hopper field would interact with the flying food fast enough that's cool!
@4:35 I may also drop a bucket of lava from up high to begin lighting up a big cave.
It’s refreshing to see people say that it’s okay to be bad at a game and all that matters is that you have fun! A nice change of pace compared to something like counter strike and such toxic shooters.
Also crops dont make damage on pick and axe so if you find a gold one with fortune in a ruin portal save it for your farm
I've never thought about dying the wool🤯 Thanks for the video!
Great remedial video. Sometimes get lost in doing big things we forget the small things. Like where to initially find resources.
1. food

3. resources
4. find diamonds at y-54
5. play multiplayer with sponsor of vid
6. write down your coordinates
7. cheat with keep inventory
8. make a storage
9. get a horse
10. make a crop farm
11. make a melon and watermelon farm
12. make a sugarcane farm
12. make a bamboo farm
13. find a village and get fortune 3
14. Always have a water bucket
15. Make a pig farm
16. Make an automatic furnace
17. Make a fuel(lava) farm
Maybe I missed some??? Not 20 plus
Insert this pointless guys exist joke here👇🏽
If ur building a base i suggest u to make slabs into ur bases floor because no mobs can spawn there and its cheap
Just use torchs
Me watching this knowing well im in mid-game already 😂
10:23 perfection blocks. Nice.
Thank you for recapping the Survival Guide in this video. Sometimes I'm not sure if the current SG3 is up to date with 1.20... Having this new video helps a lot!!!
You didn't mention using smokers or blast furnaces to smelt certain items quicker
I just wanted to say that fortune works for melons. It gives you more slices so in turn more whole melons to trade with farmers. Also it only gets you more seeds with wheat and beetroot not the actual vegetables. I put fortune on a hoe for the crops and on an axe for the melons. The extra seeds after replanting I can expand the farm or make a new one or they are great for bonemeal. I usually go ahead and use it for the pumpkins since I already have it equipped even though it doesn't do anything for them.
I use my silk touch axe to harvest watermelons. Is fortune consistently better?
@@javierperezgarrido893 yes you get more melons in the long run by getting more slices from fortune 3.
@@UnigirlTxThis is false. Fortune III only ups the drop average to just over 6 slices. Silk touch will always produce more melons.
Thank you so much! This video was extremely helpful!
Didn’t even think about doing half the stuff you mentioned in the video and I have been playing for years! Thank you
Great recap video!
Best tip video I've seen for a very long time
Ugh. My starter houses never look this good! 😩😭 I try so hard to make them dynamic and nice but they always look like a box of ish 😂😂
Don't worry the only self built house they showed was from a very long term world I believe.
Same 😂
Grian has a lot of videos with advice on this subject…idk if you follow his channel, but it’s worth the sub if you’re interested in building. Just search something like “Grian house tutorial” and one of the first videos is about avoiding the box house. Good luck friend 😊
Instead of making one big block for your house make random shapes and use a block pallet and it'll look ten times better
As a newb i've just learnt so much! Too much to remember🤯
You can also fuel your almost broken wooden pick axe or if you build a base and you use 2 doors can also add last door for fuel almost all wooden items are good unless it come from nether
I usually make a furnace, make a single charcoal and then make a campfire for my earliest days. Super cheap and fast to make and cooks stuff for free
Love this
I rename my Silk Touch pickaxe with my base co-ordinates. Always have that on me so never going to not find my way home.
You're a true genius
Smart!
When u want some early fuel you can use slabs as fuel iys not that good but u can still use it
Keep inventory “don’t be ashamed”
Turning this on will bring great shame
11:18 enjoy while you can as the nerf is coming
tbf it is OP anyway
I like to keep a book on me with coordinates
Fortune also works on 2 high flowers
make a video for midgame tips then late game tips please.
(I just wanna see what you do/say)
Is there a reason I can’t place rails on hoppers or hoppers on furnaces. Maybe the phone version I’m on is different
i’m on pc but i have to crouch before placing it on those items
Sparked host has multiple issues. The hardware is outdated, the cpu runs high, as does the ram, even with 12 gig of ram. The customer service was abysmal. I originally purchased a server in Texas, they moved me without consent, and without updating me out of the country, then it was a huge fight to get me moved back to the US, which they only had a server in Los Angeles. They then had a severe hardware failure and moved my content without informing me to another location, and didn't provide me with the new server information. I had to login and retrieve said information. After contacting support they insisted it was my fault for not reading an email.
"You did get an email, you're literally on the email. I just forwarded it to you again. So I hope you maybe consider taking accountability instead of blaming us here."
"We're working very hard to get the old node back up so that we move you all back. If you had read this email, you wouldn't have asked this question."
Just an example of the customer service you will receive if you sign up with them.
They absolutely refused to take responsibility for failed hardware, and blamed me solely for not reading an alleged email, that I have yet to receive.
Thank you I kinda forgot how to play
use mud for the sauger cane it grows faster
Would love to see a few tips on how to get elytra as fast as possibly
number 1 tip for beginners would be carved pumpkin helmet
The biggest hurdle in Bedrock (in my opinion) is to get an Iron Farm... because a lot of convenient things to make your live easier need LOTS of iron... Buckets, Hoppers, Pistons, Rails, Minecarts, they all need Iron.
I also wonder if its worth going down to find diamonds down in the deep when you can just trade up with Villagers to get diamond tools, weapons and armors.
Hey Prowl!
what is the instrumental for the food segment, jeez i hear it all the time but i never know the name.
I hear piano, bass guitar, electric guitar and some vox sounding synth
Wow this is my new account and prowl was already recommended to me... How did it know lol
It must be tracking/stalking you… I’M ONTO YOU RUclips!
I would add a travel bed to this list. It is no fun being new at night...
13:53 auto furnace
Try not to play on Peaceful Mode for too long.
You can get Iron Ingot drops from Zombie Mobs which can be used for Mine and Craft.
. . .
Oh.
I see what I did there.
You trying to scare us I just f*cking saw a cross 12:55
Not gonna lie, I use keep inventory.
Nothing wrong with that lol
Like Xentrox said. Nothing at all. It's a sandbox. Okay the way you want to. So long as you're having fun and not really causing grief to someone else it really is all good.
If you're on pc you can use keep inventory and still get achievements if you mess with you save.
Thanks! I've been trying to figure out a way to just get better at the game without losing everything and having to always start over. I'm doing it.
I did the same thing when I first started playing a few months ago. It's really tough trying to get the basics down when you're constantly being blown up or losing hunger
Campfire early game for food before caving
❤
"tips and trips" 😂
I appreciated the regular farm. I get tired of all these EPIC REDSTONE AUTO FARM
do the planks really work better than charcoal?
Well, you don't have to smelt stuff to get the charcola so might be.
Yes, you spend fuel to make fuel with charcoal... planks are way more efficient.
Yes it's true. Prowl has been saying it for a long time now and Foxynotail and SlackLizard just proved it on a Mythbusters video about a week ago. It even works with bamboo so if you make the bamboo farm and automate it later it's infinite free fuel. Do just a little bit of crafting instead of smelting. Takes a lot less time than cutting trees and smelting into charcoal.
@@Prowl8413 great, then I just need to do charcoal for torches and keep all my coal for villager trading!
@UnigirlTx sweet, I'll try that.
These tips is good but best is to go fishing
Campfires are great early game for cooking if you can't find much coal day one.
Unless there no dark oak nearby :/
@@Zunisu2 why dark oak? You can use any logs to make them.
@@dresdyn100 really? Wtf, mine wouldn't work unless it was dark oak. I haven't made a campfire in 6 months so I'll try again tonight 😆 Thanks
@@Zunisu2 I just double checked myself and it works fine 😀
@@dresdyn100 man. Maybe I did something wrong back then 😆
11:54 two and a half?!
“IRON 🤖”
Can somebody explain the sugarcane farm to me? I can't really get it down 😅
my no. 1 tip is to not get killed by mobs, in order to do so, just build some defenses around your house! smart yet simple.
Like what?
@@odub5720even simple walls and lighting all gud.
One thing I didn’t know is you can dye wool that’s pretty cool
It's a new mechanic that just came out with this update I think.
Didn't say anything about fishing 🙄 the most powerful activity in Minecraft.
Do you watch foxynotail?
Totally worth it
Nope
@@Prowl8413 Didn't you used to play on the same server?
Yes they did a long time ago.
Pigs are my least favourite food source.... Only thing you get from them is pork, every other mob in the game you get food from (not including hoglins as they're the same as pigs), they drop other useful things. I prioritise cows over any other food source personally. I sheer my sheep and if I make a passive Farm for meat, chickens are best
I've been playing Minecraft for longer than the target demographic has been alive. Why am I watching this?
prowl Auto chickens could give you a chance of having food poisoning if you don’t cook it in the game
I'm beginner and cheat doesn't exist in my dictionary
Y -56
-59 is statistically better but much higher chances of lava floods, but if you're fast/twitchy enough you can manage it
