I am a Srilankan living in Aussie now. Happy to see the video. Try Negombo beach sides hotels and restaurants for sure. They are the best! Especially try authentic srilankan rice and curry. Our country is such a beautiful and a welcoming country. But always be careful of the scamers as well

First & Foremost Thanks for Coming to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰.
There are few things many tourists fail to follow when they come to 🇱🇰.
1. Where ever you go, don’t film anyone or their house or private space without their consent/permission. ⚠️ This is not 🇮🇳 🇧🇩 🇵🇰
2. Sri Lankans are friendly & hospitable people but they don’t encourage hitchhiking culture, so try avoid asking for a lift at max. 🚗
3. Follow the simple traffic rules like wearing a helmet when riding a bike, seatbelt when riding a car. Crossing roads at Zebra crossing. (High Fines if you don’t). 🚫
4. When entering religious places/ temples try your best to remain silent when your vlogging & ask permission if recording is allowed. 📵
5. Don’t drink or smoke in public places and avoid littering at all cost. ♻️
