This is lovely, Dorothy. Thank you for sharing your tip about using the negative space of the circle. It’s a great tip! I never thought to do that in all of these years! 😂 Thank you for sharing. 😊
Really love this page. That blue colored paper has been my favorite so far that I have seen in a long time. Great idea on the inside circle providing a base color.
You are so organized that I’ve wanted to see your scrap room. I am so excited by your layout. Love the clean inking technique that makes it unique. Love your clusters. Need to remember this idea, it would be great to recreate. Now to stretch it…
Good morning Dorothy, love the inked circle what a great idea. Love your floral clusters they really make the page pop. Thanks my friend for sharing and have a great day.
I am watching or re-watching process videos for this kit so I can use more of it. It is so pretty and I don’t want it to stay hidden in storage! Jeannine
How did I miss this video? I thought it was a new video when it popped up earlier today. Oh well, I guess I can’t depend on that notification bell. 😊 Anyway, I don’t think I’ve ever used the inside of a circle for this technique; however, I remember using my Coluzzle alphabet templates to cut out each my grandsons names, which I tacked down to white cardstock. I lightly inked over their names (separate layouts) and once done removed the alphas. Love how both of those layouts turned out, but I’ve never done it again. I also remember cutting out various sized circles in middle school art class and inking (with chalk, I believe) from the center of the circles outward. I’m going to have to do that for a 70’s layout now that I think of it! LOVE how your layout turned out and how organized you are. Your fussy cut flowers are fabulous and as much as I don’t like to fussy cut, it may be necessary. Those flowers are so pretty and I think I bought at least 10 sheets of that paper! Chester sure was trying to help. 😊 Thank you for sharing your process and kick starting my memory. Have a wonderful weekend!! I’m dreading changing the clocks tonight and taking a month to adjust to DST…it seems like I just adjusted to falling back! 🙄🤣🤣
It is kind of an old, grade school technique when you think about it. Your pages with the lettering must have been fabulous. Thank you so much for watching and commenting Cindy! Have a great day! (Snowstorm in Quebec today!)
Hello Dorothy and what a fabulous layout! I watched one of your earlier videos where you shared your Mercy Tiara kits they are gorgeous. A great idea to fill the negative space with colour - I've never thought to do that. I love your soft colour palette and all the wonderful VB ephemera - it makes me want to go out and buy it all to recreate this layout but I'd better not 😂 x
What a beautiful layout Dorothy! I love the colour palette and the softness! I always am so happy when Chester comes to help you out 😉😂
Thanks Moira. Chester definitely wanted my attention on that day!

You too Debi! Thank you so much for watching!
Great layout! The title for pictures of my craft room would be ‘what a mess!’! 😂
I'm going to check my alphas...that would be a more appropriate title for my page too! Thanks for watching!
Really nice ❤
