🎨 Thank you Stuart I love the blue sky in this picture !! I always appreciate your charming chatter and your painting insights from all your years as a professional artist in so many capacities. After your years of precise intricate work it's fun to watch you paint in this free and open style. Very cool. I was happy to see this video appear. 😁
P.s. I really cracked up when you described faking it so onlookers wouldn't figure out that you were lost lol. Because I can definitely relate. 😂❤

I've tried his methods a time or two and was indeed astounded at how easy and effective they were -- and especially how quickly my paintings dried (touch-dry within hours), even with the use of the additional linseed oil. Showed me how little I knew about the medium, for sure! Cheers to Stuart!

I've picked up a few tips in my art career. 1 came from Stuart davies himself. To save money I buy panels from home depot. Have them cut there to specific sizes. Beforehand I buy cool picture frames from thrift stores. And the panels are cut to the frame size. Voila I saved about 500 dollars. Thanks Stuart

"A Masterpiece of Nature: An In-depth Look at Stuart Davies Oil Landscape Painting
When viewing Stuart Davies oil landscape painting, one is immediately struck by the breathtaking beauty and realism of the scene depicted. The artist has masterfully captured the essence of nature, from the lush greenery of the trees to the sparkling water of the river or lake.
One of the most striking elements of the painting is the use of light and color. The artist has expertly used a palette of warm and cool tones to create depth and dimension in the scene. The sunlight filtering through the trees, for example, is expertly rendered, with beams of light casting a golden glow over the water and surrounding foliage.
The composition of the painting is also noteworthy. The artist has skillfully used the rule of thirds and leading lines to guide the viewer's eye through the scene. The placement of the trees and other elements creates a sense of movement and flow, drawing the viewer deeper into the painting.
Another aspect of the painting that is particularly impressive is the attention to detail. The artist has captured the intricate textures of the trees and the water with incredible precision. Each leaf and blade of grass is rendered with such realism that it is easy to imagine oneself standing in the very same spot.
In conclusion, Stuart Davies oil landscape painting is a true masterpiece of nature. The artist's skillful use of light, color, composition, and attention to detail make for a truly breathtaking and realistic representation of the natural world. It is an artwork that will be enjoyed and admired for years to come."

Videos as thoroughly enjoyable as they are educational. I was wondering if you could demonstrate areas of sky showing through breaks in the tree foliage? Lots of trees in my area are like that & I couldn't get that quite right or visually correct without it seeming a bit distracting and a bit too much of a focal area. I've noticed that all of your trees are pretty much solid internally but, with stunning realistic effect nonetheless.
    Stay Safe & Healthy!
