You can actually long rest with little consequences vs ... losing out a lot. Certian things will move on yes.. but not too many. I'd recommend it. Camp life is great lol
i think if you haven't explored certain places on the map that trigger a new quest, you can long rest just fine without missing an important timed event 🤔

What happened to negate fire spells and fire ward, fireproof, waterskin water doused? Negate elements for 10min to an hour? Guess that Larian didn't thought of everything.
@deathbykonami5487 Holyward, Goddess blessing, whatever Pathfinder uses to negate hellspawn affliction. They wouldn't get rid of the engine but like the other spells have a temporary effect. Also, wouldn't she require new equipment every time?
Karlach states that getting excited or flustered causes her to burn hotter. You can also put a boiled kettle on grass and it won’t catch fire even if it burns to be touched by it. Heat alone does not guarantee combustion.
Unnecessary details perhaps because if they added that, the game would be much more demanding. But we seen when she destroy house furnishing after killing her hunters, even got my entire team killed by her heat😂

I didn't use any mod for character appearance atm. Just look up on the long hair section on the male half-elf race . It should be there. Then change the hair base color to pink with purple/magenta highlight 👍
