Growing up in Nicaragua I remember my uncle used to have a farm about a mile from Jiquilillo beach. We would go visit the farm and ride horses to the beach. It was beautiful.
Hey scott Tony from everything Nicaragua and rad pad here. I dig your show. Let’s do a show together you in the studio in rivas or I come to you up north 😎 thanks for the great content
Hi Scott. What's the best way to get around Nicaragua? Do you have any info on how much it would be to hire a driver? How does that work? Would you know? Thanks. Great advice on this video. 😊
It really depends on what you want to do. If you are just doing normal things, shuttles or private drivers tend to work best. A little more money but super convenient. If you plan to live here you'll want to figure out buses and such, it's so cheap and fun. If you are going to need tons of flexibility to go from place to place like in this video... you'll want to rent a vehicle or hire a private driver full time for a few days. Where and what you want to do will define your transportation options.
San Juan del Sur, certainly. Rest of the country... not really. We leave stuff unattended all the time. Phones, camera gear, clothes, bags, backpacks... it's mostly by accident. It's still foolish to do so. But the chances that things will walk away is actually pretty low. Not as low as in the US, but it's not like people who go to SJDS think it is. I JUST last week left my GoPro in a restaurant for an entire day without any problem.
There's 2 beaches i love. Romanso and playa Yankee. Parking at the first one is safe. The second one, I don't know why, entrance is private. Can only go by foot. Left my scooter before the fence and when I came back, my tools were stolen. After this, i had to leave my scooter at the house of this private entrance. I don't know why it's private. Maybe there's an other one further but the road is so bad for my 2 wheels, i wasn't tempted to explore other entrance possibilities. I got robbed on a beach near Leon too. The wind coming from the sea, i didn't hear the 2 shit who approached me hidden by the bushes and they ran away with my stuff. Lessons learned. I'm now less stupid.
*Happy 59 Paul thx for sharing good fun and interesting information Scott* 👍
Horse back camping trails would be so much fun on the west coast!

You forgot or avoided to mention to leave nothing unattended because you're gonna get robbed. Not attacked but robbed. 100%.
