- HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART, by Politzer/Withycombe
Found by the Official World Trade Center Muzak Community on 11/2/23
Heard in the Stephen McArdle 9/11 audio tape, shortly after the impact of Flight 11.
We originally thought this song we “Three Generations” by Charles Michael Brotman, by upon further inspection and a better filter of the tape, we determined it was a different song, that song was How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, originally by the Bee Gees, we apologise for our previous mistake, and we dedicate this find to the souls lost on 9/11, and their families. We will never forget.

I just can't believe it's another Bee Gees song playing after the impact...it's incredible. Coincidences are really special sometimes.
Astounding discovery mostly since it puts "Three Generations" out! Congratulations again for this new find!
All the Bee Gees music at the WTC makes sense. The Bee Gees were inescapable only 10 years earlier. Background music tends to heavily use songs that are 10-20 years out of date.
Never would have thought my favorite band would have 2 songs playing at my favorite place on 9/11, albeit in Muzak form. God Bless Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb.
And there is still the rumor of a third one, Too Much Heaven
0:02 - 0:19 is where it is heard in the mcardle tape btw
There is one example unlisted. But I don't know if there are others.
Time stamps where it was heard in Stephen McArdle's footage: 0:02 to 0:08
u mean the audio?
I dont know what to say im now sad because i like three generations more then this but that means maybe three generations played
0:43 This part is heartbreaking
At what timestamp is this heard in McArdle's recording?
@WorldTradeMuzakI meant at what time stamp in this song is it heard in his footage. Sorry for the poor wording of the original comment.
do you have the muzak "its not unusual"?
I want to ask. Im making a video about the songs of 9/11 particularly the 4 Jack Taliercio footage songs bit this will be included in the How deep is your love section. I want to ask do you think these are fine to play on twitch?
It depends, as long as no money is made it should be okay to play them.. just be careful.
@@WorldTradeCenterMuzakCommunity ok yeah I don't plan to monetize the video. As I don't think I even can get ad money at this point. Either way I don't plan on it
Pretty early. Also this is a good song
FLIGHT 11 SONG!!!!
Played right after flight 11 at 8:48 AM
Yeah how was there No One Filming just in the Plaza Even Before flt 11 came in !?
@@mrandrossguy9871there probably was, just the person hasn’t shared it yet, or never wants to because it contains some gore and things like that.
@@thejbros3287Or maybe because it’s just lost to time (talking about LOL SUPERMAN here, however that could have not even existed)
@@Creepereye20 if some people saw it, it must be real or somewhat of some video connected to it that people saw. maybe there's that one person that has it either by downloading it or some cloud file that hasn't made it public or shared to us yet or don't even know who we are.
Bet this stuff doesn’t play over there Now still 🙄
they work probably more than you searching for new songs and new information about all the 7 towers and the plaza, and the song is still musak, so the song played on the plaza on other time
Yeah, keep your comments to yourself.
No shit it's a memorial now
I mean I kinda thought three generations wasn’t it because it had notes out of place
Yeah for a bit I was confused by that. Tried lining it up IN FL a few times but it never actually fit.
Test
Can you upload, the song "I feel the earth move"
