I love how when you get in the habit of watching kdramas, 16 episodes start to feel long even though we grew up with multiple seasons of shows! 😆 (But you’re right, sometimes I just need that 12 or 8 episode show!)

8:00 if you look in the beginning of the ep when she's at home in bed and then working out etc you can see trophies and/or pictures/diplomas that she's been doing martial arts or boxing since little. I don't remember exactly what because it was a while since I watched My Name but I remember it was in the first ep in the beginning. 8:40 it's flowers etc because it's her 17th birthday (in Korean age, 16th internationally). That was in the text she got on her phone in school while they said they were moving her. 30:03 your next one really should be Flower of Evil. You'll love it. Substance, engaging, mystery, amazing plot and acting and pacing. A tip though is not to read the plot before, just watch it without any preconceived ideas of what is what and what's going to happen etc. from reading about it, just get to watching it.
fun fact han sohee gained 10kg body mass for this role… she was bashful about this, downplaying it saying it wasn’t just muscle mass but also weight in general. but her male co-star kept praising her about it, and how good she got at fighting, specifically boxing and kickboxing.

Oh I love this series. She is so kick-ass. Be prepared though...there is a lot of very graphic violence and also some really shocking moments! If you are looking for shorter and more fun series there is 'Lovestruck in the City'. It has 30 min episodes and the format is quite quirky. Just in case you need something a bit fluffy and fun after this one 🙂
