Watching your channel always makes me smile. Glad you two had a nice day to mostly relax and enjoy.
Idea: They make aluminum/metal carts which hold to garbage cans each....that would work well for your feed cans....easy to move!
Man that supper looked delicious! I could almost smell and taste it! Those are some really nice days. Take some time off from working and just enjoy each other's company and relax. I can't imagine a better day.

Nice job Evan. It’s nice to see all the extra attention given to the B-Roll. Lots of work, but such a great product. Your Memorial Day looked great. #WeRemember
Another enjoyable video! Keep up the good work!
I don’t even like ribs but man those look mighty yummy!! Looks like y’all had an awesome Memorial Day
3-2-1 method on the ribs work perfect every time..
Looking at you two How nice . You have come a long way and with a lot of hard work.
Those steers are good-sized critters, in this episode! Those ribs! What time's supper?!? :-) And good for you on the lighter work day around the ranch! Thanks for sharing your day with us, Evan! Porky pig looks super delicious, by the way.
Looks delicious !
when the cicadas are out and singing, that is a good time to fish for bass, never fails...
What s blessing to watch you and Rebecca growing your farm and animals. Becoming as self sufficient as our great grandparents and grand parents is a goal that many more want to pursue. Watching your channel inspires me and thank you for your endeavors to succeed. It all motivates many. Blessings to you both. ☝️🙏🙌💪👍👉...
And AMEN!
Didn't realize you had an Emergency Backup Dog! Looks like a great Memorial Day, well done.👍
The ducks and chickens have trained you well.
My workplace safety program harps on us to push loads rather then pull them in order to reduce injury. I see how you move your chicken house. Maybe adding some wheels at the far end in order to reduce the load of dragging it could help. Maybe ATC/side by side opportunity to reduce physical wear and tear beforehand. love the show.
I love and watch all of your videos; but I especially love the videos that you make like this. Such a beautiful place. Those ribs looked awesome. I've never had baked potatoes cooked on a camp fire and I hope to try them out real soon.
That is one beautiful slab of ribs.. Yum yum.
Evan, When you feed the chickens, if you just put food at the end you're going to move the tractor, I think this will keep the chickens nearer you, so that they don't get hit by back of the chicken tractor as you drag it to the new location. Once you finish moving the tractor, then completely fill the full length of the feeder trough.
les pommes de terre à la braise , c'est extra , juste avec une noisette de beurre au moment de la dégustation !!! coucou de France ....
Well when the grass seeds out it gets to gritty to eat and the goats dont like gritty food. Learned that about 30 yrs ago from my grandpa !
Love those ducks.
It is great from time to time to step back and rest from all the work you and Rebecca are doing, and to enjoy the benefits of raising your own food source. Great video views...have a great weekend. Hay days are coming.
At some point wrap sweet potatoes and cook them that way. Sooooooo good.
Watching ya'll eat I can see who sneaks a little food under the table
Love to see your beautiful farm! 💖
Them ribs look delicious !! Yummmmm
Good looking ribs. Although I prefer mine dry, but I will baste mine at times. Love your channel.
Evan and Rebecca love y'alls little slice of heaven there. I know it's been a ton of work, but it sure looks peaceful.
Amen to all of that.
Man, those ribs looked good! Love your place. You all are doing great!
It’s nice to see you both relaxing 😎
Now that was a Memorial dinner....it looked so good, I could almost taste it. Thanks for taking us along on your day it looked like a perfect day. I'm not much of a fisherman although I used to go once in awhile with my late husband. I mostly fed the fish. LOL. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Ribs look delicious! 😊😊😊
what a wonderful day on your farm cheers loving the videos
I cant believe yall would just eat in front of us like that ! lol
Those potatoes and tins looked delicious! I could vfc tell your ribs were so tender 😋😋. God bless 🇺🇸❤
100 K soon! I enjoy your videos.
All of the critters are looking great. You will make a farmer yet. Lol
Hey Evan. I found how to set the slip clutch on your baler. Loosen the nuts on the springs just until the springs is just loose. Then tighten the nuts 1 1/2 turns. That will set the tension on the clutch
Congratulations on 100,000 subs.
Those ribs and baked potatoes look yummy. You may want to try corn on cob on the grill. I soak the ears in water with the husk still attached to cook... comes out moist and flavorful.
Have you heard of pink paper. Great for wrapping ribs to continue cooking .let the smoke in.
Ducks should have a small pond to wallow and wash in.
good cooking , yall good
The farmstead looks good on you two! I know why you really built the new shop...you need more freezer space for all that great food you are raising. Ribs, baked taters, made me hungry! You have to relax and enjoy everything you two have built. You both work hard and it’s so true that on the farm there is always one more job to do. So glad you enjoyed the holiday! Love your channel, thanks for taking us along!
yes, we will need another freezer
MUCH agreed.
Morning Evan and Rebecca. What a gorgeous Thursday morning. . Thanks for the video
Hi Evan👋🏼
Good morning, Evan! The chicken tractor is GREAT!! The hanging feed and water work so well. They not only save time and extra work, they also appear to be saving feed.
That’s livin right there!
Perfect!
looks good have a nice meal!
LOVE THE CHANNEL, @ 18 MIN, YOU MAY NEED MORE FOIL, FIRST THING IN THE AM MAKIN ME WANT THEM RIBS, MAN THEY LOOK GOOD
From the other ones you use the tractor things put wheels at the back it makes it easier to move
Try putting the chicken feed only at the front of the troughs (near where you're pulling). That might keep the chickens up front instead of in back.
life just dont get better than that!
Sir, please consider wearing eye protection when driving the tractor through the overgrowth. You can easily get smacked in the eye and damage your eyesight. I speak from experience..
The good life!😀
great video
You can get free pallets use them to set your implements on. Keeps them from sinking into the ground and rusting. Also makes it easier to hook up next time.
That's what I do. It also makes moving them around easier if you need to with the tractor forks.
Amen brother
You can cut an angle on the bottom boards of your chicken trolley so it will slide better. I heard you say you were going to add some wheels, but just trying to help your back. Have a great weekend!
If you haven't already, put some silicone around the handle of the feed can to keep it dry. We keep a similar one outside for cat food.
Put tin foil on the grill to keep it clean, when you're done cooking your food on it just roll it up and throw it away. No more scrubbing necessary.
🙂 nice 👍🏻
Evan Your a Legend , thank you for sharing this its great seeing the country life and how much work is required , a huge Hi from Perth Australia
...good one, bon appetite..
SWEET!!!!
Hey Even ! What about pulling the outdoor chicken tractors around with a 4 wheeler ! Its better then blowing your back out again !
As to why the animals avoid eating the grass when it goes to seed. I don’t know this for sure, but my uncle and grandmother worked on a farm most of their lives and always said when the grass goes to seed it gets bitter and the animals don’t like eating it. I don’t personally know this, but just what my Oma always said. Hope that helps.
You can hear the cicadas in the background lol. We have them pretty bad in Indiana too
3-2-1 Ribs are the best!
Evan, you should place a pan of water with seasoning in it. It prevents the meat from drying out
They didn't look dry to me.
Really nice homestead..I just wanted to give a suggestion..since u have so much trees and wildlife around just make sure u thin out the forest area and fence ur pastures around because the bacteria from wildlife can really do a number on ur life stock..I didn't have any idea abt this until I had to put down a horse and couple of my cattle
I envy the feeling of growing and raising a meal, what an accomplishment, on another note I was about to call FAKE until i see Rebeccas face lol we haven't seen her since that spray foaming was done and i was like Evan, that's you in a wig!!!, you're not fooling me, but she appeared so.........." take the handcuffs off him lads......but we're watching you!!" lol
When's Rebecca going to join Bass pro tour? You gotta love a women who like to fish and eats ribs .Thanks for the video take care.
What a picturesque setting. I have to say I am quite envious of your new tractor. I hope you all had a great memorial Day Rebecca and Evan, and the food look fabulous. What do you use as a dry rub Evan? I saw that on there and I'm always interested in new recipes.
if you anchor the trough at either end it wong swing when you move it forward.
Yummy 😋
Two wheelbarrow or bicycle tires on one end of the chicken tractor.
Try whole onions with skin in the foil like the potatoes.
