Tuomas told in an interview, that this album will have an 80ies vibe and this song relates to Orwell's book 1984. After 20 times listening I am absolute in love! Greetings from Germany!
This is my new "favourite" Nightwish production. Whilst it will no doubt upset the Nightwish purists, it is for me exciting to hear this evolution of the Nightwish sound. Tuomas here describing the Social Engineers fear based mind control of the masses. 🙏😊👍❤️
There's always complainers and snivelers. This sounds like Nightwish to me through and through. I figured Tuomas was gonna come up something during the tour break the last year and a half or so. "mind virus, fear of the well known" hit me the first time I heard it.
A new way to go for Nightwish, with the children choir, having as much singing time as Floor i belive, Floor is doing some fast phrasing here to, the Ill starred kids off your junkyard?? im not sure totaly what to make of that, but surely this song is about them mainly, the world going towards a armagedon, with AI and war, and these kids play a big role right, surely a song where this mesage is the main. I didnt read the book 1984 written by George Orwell, but the song got reference to that book i belive. At first listen i needed another listen, at 3th listen the song got me, and i started like the children choir, i actually think its a pretty good song i think, and something not heard like this from NW before, nowe i listened to the song maybe 30 times! This is not a Empuu song, there is guitar in the end, but not the big Empuu solo, but i also think this song dosent need it, because the Children choir takes spotlight instead,.. BTW: a official video should be released next week i think..
When you know the lyrics and understands, the song gains more and more depth. And of course everyone has preferences. Queen also has songs that I don't listen to often. And they are my number two after Nightwish. Personally, I don't think Seven Days of the Wolves is that good for me, while others love it.😊😊🙏🙏🤘🤘
The more you listen to it the better it gets!❤

Greetings from Germany!
I did get an 80s vibe esp in the beginning
He didn't say that the album will have an 80s vibe - he was talking specifically about this ONE song.

🤗🍒🤘🏻😘 well done ladies
Another masterpiece from Nightwish, I love it😊😊🙏🙏🤘🤘
The chorus reminded me of Tarja's last dark Christmas album where there is a creepy children's choir.
We reacted to a few of those
Greetings from Finland 🤘

Video to this song is due 8/13 .
We plan to react to the music video.
Mike Oldfield and less metal, dont like this at all. The Perfume of Time was good but this... nah not for me.
This is either a grower, or then one of the worst Nightwish songs.
A grower😊😊🙏🙏🤘🤘
Loved it from the first listen and more and more with each and every listen 😊
@@harrystarink4425 Having now listened to it multiple times with much more volume, I must agree with you.

It is a grower. It will grow to an addiction just like the Perfume of the Timeless😊
