The Type 74 is certainly an interesting vehicle. The unique suspension is quite interesting but the biggest problem is whenever a New Japanese tank comes out it instantly becomes outdated. Aside from the Type 90s which were and still are quite effective and the Beautiful Type 10. It seems this trend has been bucked for now though
I have heard that the type 74 is still supposed to be in service for a long time. The type 10 is a more commanding tank due to its advanced radio communication systems.
Yes Japan's biggest issue is the weight. Even the Type 90 has issues crossing most bridges in Japan. The Type 74 is extremely outdated, buuuuuuut its also only 36 tons and works well as support tank to Type 90s and Type 10s
Nope. Japan is lowering it's MBT fleet number to focus on lighter armored car formations. The Type 74 is already being phased out, and will be totally within the next 2 years.
Too nice video about type 74 Japanese tanks and clearly explaining of producing history of tanks during cold war and presence of communism China near Japanese islands 👍

i guess it's kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch newly released tv shows online ?
No dislike from Godzilla yet. Fun video.
Lol
馴染み深い戦車だわ。
Beautiful Japanese tank, and I wish it would be back in service for many more decades.
The Type 74 is also one of the alternate forms of Blitzwing in Transformers G1.
The tracks for the museum tank are unbelievably clean, it's shining god dammit. That's the Japanese for you I guess

If wasnt for Gate Anime i would have never seen this tank ♥
Godzilla crushed many of these tanks. I would not recommend buying any of them. They are no good.
You can't buy any of them anyway, they are not for export. Japan is the only country in the world that operates type 74.
Elf Wo Karu Mono-Taichi fans: Thanks
Beautiful tank, I want it to remain operational for many more decades and never need to be replaced unnecessarily.
It needs to be replaced. Like it or not, it's outdated in every way.
They will be transfered to our freind in the south
whats the anime scene in the beginning ?
First one is an abridged Evangelion episode and the other one is Gate.
@@PanzerPicture thank you and also nice video :)
SaintMarneusCalgar Gate is probably the best and only anime I watched, I recommend
Very successful in special region
Would be nice if you arranged your play lists by type of vehicle then sub-lists by country of origin. Just a thought...
Thank you for the comment, but I think you're confused with my second channel, because I already have that on this channel.
Gate acting like the type 74 is a modern tank is hilarious thats like russians gawking over t-62 in a modern show.
I would expect a mech from Japan by now
Anime name 0:20?
Gate.
Turned the video off after the intro....
I love Japanese combat tank...😍
G1 Blitzwing altmode
Thick boi
it looks alot like the t 62
It’s like if a T-62 had a baby with a Leopard 1
Or they might have fused.
It's actually a mix between Leopard 1 and AMX-30.
Meow?
I disagree
Beautiful Japanese tank, and I wish it would be back in service for many more decades.
